Arsenal vs. Southampton Game Overview
Arsenal need to get back to winning ways in the Premier League on Tuesday night when they take on in-form Southampton at The Emirates, and I strongly believe they will get maximum points.

The Gunners' were left bitterly disappointed after they went down 1-0 to arch-rivals Chelsea in their last league match, and to me, they've been handed a perfect opportunity to  immediately get back to winning ways with a winnable  home match against the Saints', the good news for us is the bookies don't agree with me and make the home side a very generous price.

I can't believe the soccer odds on offer for the Wenger Boys with the home side at a massive 1.85 with William Hill, which is a huge overreaction to Arsene Wenger's side's Chelsea defeat. What the bookies seem to have forgotten is that in the Chelsea defeat they were reduced to 10 men for over an hour, and they where still much the better side and almost sneaked a draw late on.

I'm also well aware that Southampton humiliated Arsenal in the reverse fixture 4-0 at St Mary's on Boxing Day, but it's a very, very different story at the Emirates where the Saints' have never won in the Premier League and their last success was way back in November 1987, and they won't be ending that long unwanted run on Tuesday.

Arsenal looked good in Saturday's 3-1 win over Burnley in the defense of their FA Cup, and in that cup-tie, Wenger had the luxury of resting a number of first-teamers who will all back and raring to go for this one.

Skipper Per Mertesacker will still be missing through suspension after his sending off against Chelsea (which is a positive for the Gunners) and his replacement Brazilian international Gabriel Paulista is a more than adequate deputy, and I'm expecting them to win and to win to nil which looks generous at the 3.00 with BoyleSports.

Betting Analysis
The Saints' have had the weekend off after their early FA Cup exit and Ronald Koeman's side will still be buzzing after their 1-0 success at Manchester United in their last Premier League match. New signing Charlie Austin scored the winner on his debut at Old Trafford and he's expected to start on Tuesday night, and the former QPR man is 9.00 with BoyleSports to open the scoring again something that won't happen.

I really can't see the visitors scoring this time around, and they will up against a very pumped Arsenal side keen on revenge after the mauling at St. Mary's and the recent Chelsea defeat, and I can see them taking their frustrations out on the Saints' and them easing to a 2-0 success which is 9.00 with BetVictor to get their title challenge back on track.

Arsenal fans would've been delighted to see their talisman Alexis Sanchez back returning  to the starting line-up with a goal against Burnley on Saturday, and his return is one of the main reasons I fancy them strongly to beat the Saints', and I really don't usually like betting on first-goalscorers but the 6.50 with Ladbrokes on the Chilean getting back on the Premier League goals trail with the opener looks massive for our soccer picks.
