After slipping up against Chelsea, the Reds now find themselves needing a win at Crystal Palace, which is going to be much easier said than done. What kind of soccer betting odds are on offer for Monday's match and who do we think is worthy of picking?

Odds Overview
Though they'll be away from home and playing at a tough venue in Selhurt Park, Liverpool is the clear-cut favorite at approximately -250. For those wanting to make a play on Palace, they're listed at +700 right now, with a draw priced out at anywhere from -375 to -400.

Crystal Palace
At this point, it doesn't really even matter what Palace do for the remainder of the season. Tony Pulis has steered them from the relegation zone and they'll be competing in the Premier League next term. That's all that matters.

It's been startling to see what an effect Pulis has had since agreeing to take over, considering the team had six points at the time. They looked like they were a lock to get relegated.

Instead, Palace has become a side to be reckoned with, especially when playing at home. Their excellent overall play has guided them into the 11th spot in the league standings.

The good times had to come to an end at some point though and the Eagles most definitely met their match when they hosted Manchester City this past weekend. The Citizens were visibly boosted after watching Liverpool lose to Chelsea and came out with incredible determination, leading to a 2-0 away win thanks to goals from Edin Dzeko and Yaya Toure.

Can Palace respond positively on Monday? They've managed eight wins, two draws and eight defeats at home thus far, with 15 goals for and 20 goals against. Surely Pulis will try to adopt a similar tactic to the one Chelsea successfully employed at Anfield last weekend.

Liverpool
The Reds were favored in the soccer betting odds for their pivotal home match against Chelsea, but it was clear from the opening whistle that they were going to be in for a tough challenge.

Jose Mourinho had a game-plan and his side executed it to perfection. The Blues sat back and let Liverpool come at them and tire themselves out, and eventually Brendan Rodgers' men simply ran out of ideas going forward. They were caught on the break and ended up losing 2-0.

It was a frustrating result for Liverpool and their supporters alike, as City's win over Palace means the title is now in their hands. The Reds simply cannot afford to drop any more points, starting with this trip to Selhurst Park.

While Liverpool's attacking prowess has been on full display away from home (45 goals in 18 matches), they've been very susceptible in the back, allowing 29 goals in that same span.

Still, you have to like the Reds' chances of bouncing back after a heartbreaking home loss. Daniel Sturridge is back and is likely to rejoin the starting XI and we've seen how devastating his partnership with Luis Suarez can be throughout the season.

Premier League Pick
This should be one heck of a match.

Earlier in the year you'd have to say this would be a walk in the park for the Reds, regardless of venue, but Pulis has been a mastermind once again and now this Crystal Palace side has become incredibly tough to beat.

That being said, Manchester City did prove it can be done in their controlled win over Palace at Selhurst. In the end, we think Liverpool will learn from their mistakes against Chelsea and do enough to get the hard-fought win in London on Monday for our soccer picks.
