Premier League match day 6 gets underway this weekend with a slew of stellar fixtures that we spot in this rundown, complete with soccer picks. Let’s get cracking.

Match day 5 Recap and Overall Soccer Picks Record
Manchester City leads the Premier League table with a perfect 5-0-0 record, the only side not to drop any points in England’s top flight to date. Everton and Tottenham nip at their heels in second and third place while Arsenal round out the Top Four, the latter of which rides a three-game winning streak into match day 6 ahead of the much anticipated London Derby date with Chelsea.

In this column, the soccer picks for week 5 went 6-4 W/L, improving the overall record to 30-20 W/L through five weeks of predicting Premier League fixtures. Make sure to go to the best sportsbooks websites before betting along with checking the bonuses they offered.

Manchester United vs. Leicester City
In one week, Manchester United succumbed to three straight defeats – two Premier League fixtures and a Europa League group fixture. They’ve since bounced back in League Cup albeit a 3-1 win over a lesser Northampton Town is not exactly a sign they’re on the mend. What a difference a week can make in a club’s fortunes, though. Yet, Jose Mourinho and the Red Devils are installed as the favourites on match day 6 when they welcome Premier League champions Leicester City. With soccer odds ranging from -130 to -150 depending on your choice sportsbook, don’t the hosts appear to be slightly overrated given current patchy form? Can they justify this favourable soccer betting outlook? Not really. Considering the Foxes are the Champions – don’t bookies remember? – and current form is positive with back-to-back wins – 3-0 over Club Brugge in their Champions League debut and 3-0 triumph at home over Burnley last weekend.  Granted the Foxes did suffer a 4-2 defeat to Chelsea in midweek League Cup, though, but the Foxes don’t warrant soccer odds of +400 or higher surely. To all intents and purposes, the Foxes don’t appear to be receiving the respect they deserve. As such, we’re happy to go against the hosts in favour of Claudio Ranieri’s wily Foxes. Those ballsy enough to go for the outright can back Leicester City at +430 with the Greek. Smarter bet might be to give yourself some insurance with the double chance bet +120

Bournemouth AFC vs. Everton FC
For a second straight week, the Cherries take on a top of the table club. Last week it was first-placed Man City, who eviscerated them 4-0 at the Etihad. This week it’s second-placed Everton descending on Vitality Stadium. Although the Cherries are priced at the disadvantage, with soccer odds as high as +300 or higher, it’s somewhat surprising Everton are matched on EVEN money. In the current climate, they are the second best team and undefeated on the season with four wins and a draw.

Liverpool vs. Hull City
Jurgen Klopp and the Reds welcome the plucky Tigers to Anfield on Saturday, a fixture that is firmly cornered in their camp. Home field advantage, scintillating form, conspicuous depth and ubiquitous quality make Liverpool the correct favourites, not to mention an almost sure bet to win at -400 soccer odds. Hull City, meanwhile, came back down to earth finally following a surprising start. Behind a couple of defeats and a draw, they slip to 12th spot from a high of 2. It’s unlikely they’ll strike an audible chord this week as the problems on and off the field for the club seem to continue. Consider Liverpool are on fire right now backing the totals looks to be the value play.

Middlesbrough vs. Tottenham Hotspur
Following a 2-1 defeat to Monaco in Champions League, the Spurs bounced back with a 1-0 win over Sunderland and a 5-0 drubbing over Gillingham in League Cup. Middlesbrough looms next on the Premier League schedule, a lightweight side by all accounts that comes into this fixture in a patchy form. The Spurs really should win this one without too much fuss.

Stoke City vs. West Bromwich Albion
Midland rivals Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion collide on match day 6 for a fixture that must feel like a must-win for Mark Hughes and his Potters. Their campaign is in dire straits with just one point through five fixtures. As it is, they prop up the table and ride a four-game losing streak into the weekend. One of the biggest worries is conceding 13 goals in five fixtures. Tony Pulis and his lads are coming off a come-from-behind 4-2 win over the Hammers, scoring twice as many goals in one game as they did in four previous. It was a much-need boon and lifts the Baggies to tenth place in the table. To all intents and purposes, this does seem to be a tossup fixture despite the contrasting fortunes of both teams.

Sunderland AFC vs. Crystal Palace
Sunderland is still searching for their first win of the season. They are 0-1-4 through five fixtures and mired in the relegation quagmire. Crystal Palace appears to have found form and come into this fixture with a three-game unbeaten streak, including back to back wins over Middlesbrough and Stoke that include shipping six goals and conceding just 2.

Swansea City vs. Manchester City
Pep Guardiola and the Citizens are rolling through the Premier League schedule without breaking too much of a sweat. Most recently, they ripped Bournemouth apart at the Etihad 4-0, topping up their tally on the season to 15 goals scored and just four conceded. The way they are playing at the moment, they look to be a banker to win on the road.

Arsenal vs. Chelsea
This is sure to be the popcorn match of the weekend, a must-see for football enthusiasts the world over. Neck-and-neck in the table (level on 10 points) the premium on the win couldn’t be any greater for Arsene Wenger or Antonio Conte. The Gunners are coming off a win over Hull City, their third win in a row. Conte’s side succumbed to a loss to Liverpool, their first defeat on the season and second straight fixture in which they leaked points. In such a high quality matchup, it’s anybody’s guess which will win. Between this pair 22 goals were shipped through five fixtures. Seems to make sense to expect more goals here, right?

West Ham United vs. Southampton
Both West Ham United and Southampton are struggling this season. The Hammers have just three points from five fixtures thanks to a 1-0 win over Bournemouth on match day 2. The Saints are doing slightly better with a 1-2-2 record through five fixtures but not that much better really. What is a worry for the Saints is their inability to score – they have scored four and conceded six on the season? If there’s one place the Hammers could help it’s on that front as they’ve conceded 13 goals through five fixtures, all while scoring 7 goals. Too much inconsistency and unpredictability exist in each camp, prompting a swerve of match betting markets. Both teams to score has the right look about it,

Burnley vs. Watford
Watford beat West Ham United 4-2 and then stunned Manchester United 3-1, to the chagrin of Jose Mourinho and the Red Devils. Match day 5 serves up a much easier matchup you’d think with Burnley, sat 16th in the table and sporting one lone victory in five fixtures (2-0 over Liverpool on match day 2). Sometimes it’s the easy ones that are the trickiest and toughest to win. Still given current form Watford at +165 at bet365 to win outright is a tempting bet.
