Plan on betting EPL Futures This  2017/2018 EPL Football Season? Let's breakdown value on the Tottenham Hotspur based on Fixtures.

EPL Betting: Fixture Run-in Points to Spurs Gamble

I’ve never understood why football supporters get so excited about next season’s fixture lists being revealed. You’ve got to play them all at some point, right?

But then when you think of it from a betting perspective, it is actually rather important. The Premier League title race, for example, could be decided by which team has the easiest run-in come April and May. Would you want to be on a team who plays a clutch of also-rans? Or one that has tough fixtures against competitive teams and fellow title chasers?

So, listed below are the six teams at the front of the betting in the outright market and who, currently, the fixture computer has decided they will face-off against at the business end.

Chelsea, the holders, runners-up Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Arsenal will each have to play a fellow Big Six club just the once in their last five games, so it is worth deciphering the other contests to try to uncover value.

And it has to be said that Antoni Conte’s men, who are no better than +350 for your soccer picks with Betway, appear to have the most testing of denouements. A home game against newly-promoted Huddersfield as the second of their final five is a gimme. We can’t say what Southampton will look like in the game before as they have just sacked their manager.

The final three are tricky indeed, though. Away to Swansea, who are resurgent, Liverpool and another side on the up, Newcastle, is not for the fainthearted.

If that gives us an edge, so too does the list for Tottenham. They are +900 (Bet365) and fourth favourites. At the start of their five, they have a tough one against Manchester City, the +275 (Paddy Power) jollies. But after that, it’s a bit of a breeze.

Brighton and Watford could be real stragglers (and one could possibly be down by this point) and Spurs would expect to take maximum points from both. They then play West Bromwich Albion, who they beat 4-0 in January. Their last game of the season is against Leicester City.

Spurs thrashed the Foxes 6-1 in their penultimate fixture last term and Leicester are taken to have a poor season. They won just two of their last ten matches under Craig Shakespeare.
