Tottenham has been scoring goals for fun lately, but should find it a lot more difficult to break down Stoke City this weekend. We've examined all of the soccer betting odds and have come up with our favorite pick for this match at the Brittania.

Odds Overview
Tottenham will enter as favorites despite being away from White Hart Lane. They can be found at right around +130 to get the three points.

For those of you that think the Potters will get the victory, you can lock them in at as high of a price as +230. Quite an appealing number there, considering how strong Stoke City has been at home. A draw is quoted at roughly +250.

Stoke City
The Potters haven't been getting much love for their body of work, but they've really done well this season.

Right now they can be found in the tenth spot in the Premier League, two points behind Newcastle and five back of Southampton. If Stoke had been able to fare better away from home (only two wins in 18 matches), they may have very well been challenging for a spot in Europe.

This past Saturday, the Potters had to settle for a 1-1 draw away to Cardiff City. Marko Arnautovic had put Stoke up right before halftime with a converted penalty, but Peter Whittingham got his own goal from the spot early in the second half and neither team could break the deadlock thereafter.

Now Stoke City returns to the Brittania in hopes of getting back on the winning side.

The Potters have been incredibly tough to beat when playing at home, thanks in large part to a defense that's allowed only 15 goals in 17 matches. Let's see if they can reel in Christian Eriksen and the rest of Tottenham on Saturday.

Matches involving the Spurs have been some of the most entertaining out there, that is if you're a fan of goals.

There have been four or more goals in five straight matches for Tottenham. In that span, they've beaten Southampton (3-2), Sunderland (3-1) and Fulham (3-1), drawn with West Brom (3-3) and lost to Liverpool (0-4).

The latest result was a positive one though, as Spurs looked dominant in their home win over the relegation-threatened Cottagers.

Christian Eriksen provided the inspiration in the victory, setting up two of the goals with fine assists. Goalscorers on the day were Paulinho, Harry Kane and Younes Kaboul, though it was Eriksen that was pulling all of the strings.

Will Eriksen and his Spurs counterparts continue to show their attacking quality this weekend? They've actually been quite good away from home, recording nine wins, three draws and five losses in 17 matches overall, yet it's never going to come easy against Stoke City, that much we've learned.

Premier League Pick
We really like what Mark Hughes has been able to do with this Stoke City side and we're putting our faith in the hosts to squeak by with a narrow victory.

If you can believe it, the Potters have only lost twice on their own pitch, which is tied for the fifth fewest defeats in the entire Premier League. The Brittania has been a fortress for the club and they intend to keep it that way against Tottenham.

Despite some positive results lately, it's hard to have too much faith in Spurs right now, especially with Tim Sherwood publicly calling out his players. We think Stoke's the right play this weekend at these attractive soccer betting lines.

Pick: Stoke City 2 Tottenham 1
