Norwich City are no-hopers against Liverpool when the pair collides in week 35 EPL betting. It would take a minor miracle for the hosts to beat the title favourites. So with the clash a foregone conclusion, let’s look at some side betting markets for our value soccer picks.

Norwich City at the disadvantage
To say Norwich City are at the disadvantage is to put it mildly. Huge underdogs would be a better assessment of their +750 soccer odds while enjoying home advantage against the Reds at the weekend. At the back of it all, a precarious position in the table, on the edge of a two-point gap into the relegation pit that they are in very real danger of falling into at the end of EPL week 35 betting.

The burden of Premier League survival hangs heavily over Norwich City right now. They are sat in 17th place on the back of an 8-8-18 mark and 32 points. Just two-points clear of Fulham, a side they are only just after losing 1-0 to at Craven Cottage. And in order to take a step in the right direction they are faced with one of the most impossible tasks: to beat the red-hot Reds matched at serious -300 soccer odds to win outright and now also the odds on favourites to win the title at -125. Talk about cruel twist of fate.

Title on the line
Of course, Liverpool carry a burden of expectation as the title favourites and it remains to be seen whether they can handle it. But one has to assume that the stop in Norwich isn’t going to prove challenging towards that end. Most would have the clash with Chelsea the coming week as the real title decider.

The last time the pair met the Canaries were decimated 5-1 at Anfield Stadium. Almost singlehandedly one might add as Luis Suarez had one of the best games of what has been an incredible season for him, scoring four goals, three of which came in the first half at roughly ten-minute increments.

Overall, Liverpool are riding a 15-game undefeated streak in Premier League action with 13 wins and two draws. During this stretch, offense has been lighting up the charts with a mammoth contribution of 50 goals (an average of 3.33 goals per game) and they’ve pulled off five clean sheets.

If there were a slight criticism it’s that defence isn’t as tight as that of the other title favourites. Liverpool have allowed 19 goals over the last 15 games, which yields an average of 1.26 goals per game and more of those came on the road than at home. Some of the sides that have netted a few in their kops past Liverpool include Cardiff City in a 6-3 defeat and Fulham in a 3-2 defeat.

Norwich City vs. Liverpool match betting tips and picks:
At the face of it, the clash is tipping wholeheartedly towards the visitors. Many soccer bettors expect Liverpool to underscore their title credentials in a winnable match against Norwich City and, hence, they are the popular soccer pick at -300 to win outright.

The value soccer picks are however in the side markets. Liverpool have enjoyed a scoring frenzy of late so taking a higher total tally here would be the smart bet. The Over 3.5 at +100 is good conservative option. However, given that the last two matches between Liverpool and Norwich City saw the Reds score 5 goals then cautious optimists might want to consider the 4.5 at +225 at William Hill.

Speaking of the score, a 5-0 score to Liverpool is matched at +2500 soccer odds while a 5-1 score is matched at +2800. Other high scores that look appealing include a 4-0 or 4-1 score at +1600 respectively. That being said, it would appear sportsbooks are favouring a 2-1 score with the shortest odds available at +750.

Other side markets include Luis Suarez to score anytime at -200 as well as to score first and last goal at +225 each. To score two or more is also tipped at +225 and if he has the kind of game he did the last time this should prove a profitable soccer pick. Daniel Sturridge is matched at -110 to score anytime while Stephen Gerrard is a tempting +120 to score anytime.

Soccer Free Picks: Liverpool to win outright at -300; Over 3.5 at +100
