Two teams going in different directions meet up at the Emirates this weekend. The Gunners are going through some trying times right now and the road gets even tougher when they have to contend with the in-form Citizens.

Odds Overview
No surprise to see City positioned where they are in the soccer betting odds. They're right around +110 to win, with Arsenal at +275 underdog at home and a draw listed in the same kind of range.

Arsenal
Times are tough for the Gunners at the moment. They followed up a 6-0 away defeat to Chelsea by looking shaky as ever in a 2-2 home draw against Swansea City.

Arsenal was down early after a Wilfried Bony goal, but Lukas Podolski's introduction in the second half was the necessary spark, as he found the back of the net in the 73th minute and then helped Olivier Giroud find the back of the net a minute later.

However, the Gunners couldn't hold on and Swansea City's pressure forced an own goal out of Mathieu Flamini in the dying minutes. Considering Arsenal had looked underwhelming throughout, it was more than a fair result.

The point means Arsenal stays in fourth place, though they're two points back of third-place Liverpool, who also have a match in hand. More worryingly, the Gunners are only six points clear of Everton for the final Champions League spot, and the Toffees also have a match to make up.

Injuries obviously aren't helping Arsene Wenger. He's missing the likes of Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere, all of whom remain out with various ailments.

Manchester City
City make it look easy in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford. They scored in the opening minute and never looked back.

Edin Dzeko scored within 42 seconds and added a second early in the second half, with Yaya Toure putting the icing on the cake with a fine late solo goal. The Citizens were a class above their city rivals and never really let their stranglehold of the match loose.

It was City's third consecutive victory across all competitions and fifth straight in the league. They've responded excellently since crashing out to Barcelona in the Champions League.

The win over United pushed the Citizens into second place in the Premier League standings and has them only three points back of Chelsea with two matches in hand. They're in the best position of anyone in the league right now and won't want that to change in London this weekend.

In terms of the side's away form, they've mustered up eight wins, three draws and four losses in all, with 31 goals for and 18 against. Only Liverpool has been more prolific in attack away from home.

Premier League Pick
The Gunners may have only lost one time at home in the league this season, but we think a second is on the way this weekend.

Simply put, Arsenal is not playing anywhere near their best and they haven't responded to adversity very well at all throughout the campaign either. When the going gets tough, we haven't really seen the Gunners get stuck in and shift gears.

Unfortunately for Wenger, the Citizens come in full steam ahead, having looked full of energy with their pressing and mighty dangerous when they win the ball back. We foresee a fourth straight victory for City on Saturday and will side with them for our soccer picks.
