There's no debate about who the favorites will be for Tuesday's Champions League action between Porto and Athletic Bilbao. The Portuguese outfit will be the favorites and we'd be surprised if they didn't get the three points.

Odds Overview
At this time, the Dragons are trading in the -150 to -160 range on the soccer odds board. As the group leaders, they'll be looking to stay at the perch with another winnable match at home.

If you're of the belief the Spanish outfit presents value in this encounter, you can find Athletic Bilbao listed at anywhere from +450 to as high as +500 at some outlets. A draw can be found at roughly +275 right now.

Another year, another season full of success for one of Portugal's best sides.

We've gotten accustomed to seeing the Dragons at the top across many different competitions, and this 2014/15 campaign has been no different. Not only is Porto top of Group H, with eight goals scored already in two matches, they're also right in the thick of things near the top of the Portuguese Liga table.

Right now, the Dragons are in second place, having earned 15 points through seven fixtures. They're four points back of league-leading Benfica, but there's plenty of time for them to make up some ground.

In their most recent taste of action, Porto fell in the domestic cup 3-1 at home to Sporting CP, which is not exactly how you want to perform only a matter of days before a crucial Champions League clash. That being said, we'd be hard pressed to believe the Dragons won't bounce back and play much better here in this European tie.

The man to watch? That's easy. Jackson Martinez is one of the best strikers in the world right now. He's scored five league goals and has already found the back of the net three times in two Champions League appearances. You better believe Athletic Bilbao will have something prepared tactics-wise to slow down the feared attacker.

Athletic Bilbao
For those unaware, the Lions have not been in a good way recently. They haven't picked up a win in eight consecutive matches, a worrying sign heading into an away clash against a formidable Porto outfit.

Since a 2-1 loss to BATE Borisov in Champions League action, Bilbao has since gotten crushed (5-0) by Real Madrid and then tied Celta Vigo 1-1 at home.

The Lions are dead last in their group, and they've been very poor domestically too. At the moment they're all the way down in 16th place, a far cry from their excellent finish in La Liga last term.

Aritz Aduriz has been one of the lone highlights for the club this season. He's the only Bilbao player to have scored multiple league goals, so you have to figure he'll be the one the Lions lean on when going forward. The 33-year-old striker has scored a Champions League goal already too, though we reckon he'll find it tough against a solid Porto defensive line.

We have to be realistic though. The results simply haven't been there for Bilbao this season, so backing them, regardless of the attractive soccer betting lines, is going to be mighty hard to do.

Champions League Pick
Bilbao is not a bad team. The Lions are better than what their recent results may suggest, and it's only a matter of time before they start getting momentum back on their side.

But, that's not enough to warrant our soccer picks recommendation this week.

Porto has looked mighty tough on the European stage so far, and we're not going to read much into the side's recent cup setback. Look for Jackson Martinez and the Dragons to earn the win at home, extending their unbeaten streak in Group H.

Soccer Pick: Porto 2 Athletic Bilbao 0
