It's been a miserable start for the Potters in Premier League play, and now they must travel to the Emirates to take on the Gunners. Needless to say, the soccer odds are very much in Arsenal's favor.

Odds Overview
Who's the biggest chalk out there this week in the Premier League? That title belongs to none other than Arsene Wenger's Gunners, who are priced out in the -325 to -375 range to secure all three points on Saturday.

This is an incredibly tough fixture for Stoke City, as you can tell by the Premier League odds. The Potters are available for backing at a whopping price of +1000 at most of the top sportsbooks, while a draw (approaching +500) is also considered a longshot to come through.

It wasn't easy, but the Gunners were able to do just enough to earn all three points in their most recent league match, which came right before the international break. They won 1-0 away to Newcastle, with an own goal helping the cause for Wenger's men. To be fair, Arsenal totally dominated possession (70 percent) and racked up 13 shots on target, so it was a fair result.

The Gunners have picked up seven points through their first four matches, which puts them in a tie for fifth place alongside Manchester United and Liverpool. Arsenal's one major letdown came at home against West Ham in the team's opening Premier League match, but the Gunners have made amends by going unbeaten in their next three matches.

We're again curious to see who Wenger opts to start up front. Theo Walcott got the call against the Magpies, with Olivier Giroud having to settle for a spot on the bench. Either way, Arsenal enter this weekend as heavy favorites no matter who takes the pitch, and it'd be a big surprise if they weren't able to notch the outright win.

Stoke City
So far it's been an ugly league campaign for Mark Hughes and the Potters, as they've still yet to win a match. They've only got two points to show for their efforts in four matches, with the draws coming away to Tottenham and then Norwich City. Their two losses have come at home against Liverpool and most recently West Brom.

Despite being classified as the soccer-odds on favorites against the Baggies, the Potters were starved for ideas and failed to generate many scoring chances. They had more possession, but just barely (55 percent) and only were able to record three shots on target on their home pitch. It was certainly a day to forget for Stoke City.

Things have just not come together early on for a relatively new-look Potters side that's brought on Ibrahim Afellay and Xherdan Shaqiri among others, but the talent is in place for better results to come. It's going to take time for this squad to find the proper chemistry, but they've dug themselves quite an early hole already in the ultra-competitive EPL.

Premier League Pick
The Gunners are the biggest favorites on the soccer odds board for this week's Premier League action, and it's easy to see why.

We have to agree with oddsmakers' assessment of this match, as we haven't been impressed whatsoever with Stoke City. The Gunners haven't been quite as dominant as expected, but they hold the clear advantage this week at home, and they should be eager to repay their fans after consecutive matches that ended in letdowns (loss to West Ham and draw against Liverpool).

In order to get more value out of our soccer pick, we're going to back Arsenal to win by at least two goals, which is available at a much friendlier price than the offerings on a straight moneyline play.

Premier League Pick: Arsenal 2 Stoke City 0 at BetCRIS.
