The Copa America is underway and we've got some amazing matches coming up over the next few days, highlighted by a battle royale between Argentina and Uruguay. Our soccer odds preview can be found inside.

Odds Overview
There's no confusion about who the soccer odds-on favorites are for Tuesday's match. Argentina, as one of the biggest favorites of the entire tournament, can be found at right around -150 to win and get three more crucial points in the group stage.

As for Uruguay, odds makers aren't liking their chances very much, as they've posted a line at just around +515. A draw is quoted at close to +300 at the top sportsbooks.

All didn't go as planned for Argentina in the group opener, as they had to settle for a 2-2 draw against a feisty Paraguay team. Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero both found the back of the net in the first half, and it looked like the Argentineans were well on their way to a comfortable win. However, Paraguay dug in and was able to score twice themselves to record an outstanding (and surprising) result.

That draw means everything is wide open in Group B, meaning this upcoming encounter with Uruguay is of the utmost importance for both sides. However, when you look at the quality littered throughout the Argentina camp, it's hard to see them not finishing atop the group when all is said and done.

Messi is the best player in the world, and then you've got names like Aguero, Di Maria, Tevez, Higuain, Zabaleta and Macherano just to name a few. This squad is stacked and will be scoring plenty of goals in this competition - the only concern is whether that defense will be able to hold up against some of the best attacking teams in the country, namely the Neymar-led Brazilians. A meeting with Edison Cavani will be a good warmup test in that regard.

Without Luis Suarez, still suspended for his bite against Italy in the World Cup, Uruguay loses a lot of luster in the competition, and that's understandable. After all, Suarez is one of the best players in the world and has led his country to some incredible results over the years, so of course his absence is going to hurt the team.

That's not to say Uruguay has no chance whatsoever, however. There's still talent here, with the squad headlined by Cavani. The PSG striker started up front for the Uruguayans in their 1-0 victory over Jamaica in the group opener. The lone goal came from Cristian Rodriguez in the 52nd minute, with the Uruguay defense holding strong against the Jamaicans on their way to three points in Group B.

Up next is this Tuesday showdown with Argentina, and Uruguay will then close the group with a match against Paraguay, who tied Messi and company 2-2 this past weekend. Even a draw against the Argentineans here would be a huge result, and you can expect them to do everything in their power to avoid the loss.

Copa America Pick
Though we expect a hard-fought effort from Uruguay, it's hard to put our faith in them when preparing our final soccer picks.

Let's be serious. This is Argentina we're talking about, and they've got a loaded squad from top bottom, though it all starts and ends with Messi when it comes down to it. Messi was once again a difference maker in the team's opener, and he should be orchestrating everything again here on Tuesday.

With a scarily good front three and a solid spine all the way towards the back, Argentina is looking like a strong contender to win the Copa America. We expect them to find a way to the three points against a Uruguay outfit that lacks some serious bite without Suarez out there wrecking havoc. Back the Messi-led Argentineans to get it done.
