Since we’ve covered our totals plays of the night in a separate article we’ll focus on picking sides from the rest of the NHL betting card. Here’s our three favorite bets.

<p style="text-align:center"><iframe allowfullscreen frameborder="0" height="330" src="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/video/embed/?videoId=25204" width="560"></iframe></p> <p><a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/picks/nhl/hottest-sports-picks-wednesday-based-odds-movement-betting-trends/54347/" target="_blank" title="Doug Upstone shares his pick for Wild/Flames"><strong>Minnesota Wild vs. Calgary Flames</strong></a><br /> Odds: Wild -115<br /> The Wild appear to be running out of steam a little bit as they first got that Super Mario star power when they acquired Devan Dubnyk, going 7-1-1 in his first nine starts, but they’ve tapered off since. They are just 2-2 in their last four and Dubnyk has given up six goals in his last two outings.</p> <p>Really, this is a coin flip of a game but the Flames deserve more credit than to be a <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/betting-odds/nhl-hockey/" target="_blank" title="Shop for the best numbers on SBR's live odds board">NHL odds </a>home dog in this spot. They are the better of the two teams (according to the points standings) and have won 11 of their last 15 games. I’m willing to take a chance on them here. Minnesota is just 10-18 this season when playing teams with a winning record.</p> <p><strong>NHL Pick: </strong><a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/Sportsbook/?v=3372&amp;book=in-article-thegreek" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="Visit this A+ rated sportsbook by SBR">Flames -105 at The Greek</a></p> <p><iframe allowtransparency="true" border="0" frameborder="no" height="140px" id="iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426" name="iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426" scrolling="no" src="http://js.sbrfeeds.com/index.php/article?iframeid=iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426&amp;timezone=16&amp;theme=article&amp;line-type=spreadntotals.type=whole-game&amp;odds-type=US&amp;books=19,43,227,1096,999996,93,238,123,139&amp;trackers=1409845611531.xml&amp;event-id=305982" style="width:642px;border:medium none;overflow:hidden"></iframe></p> <p style="text-align:center"><a href="http://Best Values on 2015 Stanley Cup Future Odds" target="_blank" title="Click here to find your best bet on Stanley Cup"><var>Looking for <span id="articleTitle">Best Values on 2015 Stanley Cup Future Odds</span>? </var></a></p> <p><a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/picks/nhl/top-nhl-total-picks-the-day-three-over-under-selections-tonight/54327/" target="_blank" title="Top Totals of the Night include Red Wings/Blackhawks"><strong>Detroit Red Wings vs. Chicago Blackhawks</strong></a><br /> Odds: Blackhawks -190<br /> So we’re picking almost the entire card on Wednesday night, so we’ll have to break some of our rules to make it work. One of those rules is the fact that I never lay more than -140 in hockey games. In this spot, I do like the Blackhawks and will take them.</p> <p>For starters, Chicago tends to play its best against the better teams in the NHL. They’re 21-7 against teams above .500 and just 14-15 against everyone else. Meanwhile, Detroit is just 8-11 against teams with a winning record.</p> <p>Beyond that, they own this series at home, winning six of the last seven at the United Center, and goaltender Corey Crawford is 16-6-3 against Detroit in his last 26 appearances against them while boasting a 1.98 GAA.</p> <p>Chicago is 4-0-2 in its last six while Detroit has dropped three in a row. Take Chicago in this spot.</p> <p><strong>NHL Pick: </strong>Blackhawks -160 at The Greek</p> <p><iframe allowtransparency="true" border="0" frameborder="no" height="140px" id="iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426" name="iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426" scrolling="no" src="http://js.sbrfeeds.com/index.php/article?iframeid=iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426&amp;timezone=16&amp;theme=article&amp;line-type=spreadntotals.type=whole-game&amp;odds-type=US&amp;books=19,43,227,1096,999996,93,238,123,139&amp;trackers=1409845611531.xml&amp;event-id=305981" style="width:642px;border:medium none;overflow:hidden"></iframe></p> <p> </p> <p><a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/picks/nhl/lightning-vs-ducks-free-nhl-pick-upset-alert-tonight-s-clash-the-titans/54344/" target="_blank" title="Lightning vs. Ducks Free NHL Pick: Upset Alert In Tonight's Clash of the Titans"><strong>Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Anaheim Ducks</strong></a><br /> Odds: Ducks -135<br /> Alright, so we’ll sneak one more total into our Wednesday <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/picks/nhl/" target="_blank" title="More Free NHL Picks by SBR Experts">NHL picks</a>. You have to like the over in this game given how both teams have been playing in net recently. So far this month, the Ducks have given up 3.57 goals per game, which is the third-worst number in the NHL, while the Lightning have allowed 3.25 goals per game, which is the sixth-worst number. The average combined score in a Ducks game this month is 6.71 while the average combined score in a Lightning game is 6.38. Combined, 10 of these two teams 15 games have gone over the number.</p> <p>There are some strong stats going against us here like the fact that the Ducks have played under in 16 of 21 games this season when they’re at home with a total of 5.5 but a lot of that was with Frederik Andersen in net. He’s out nursing a neck injury and John Gibson is expected to fill in. Go over.</p> <p><strong>NHL Pick: </strong><a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/Sportsbook/?v=808&amp;book=Bodoginarticle" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="Grab this line at Bovada/Bodog sportsbook">Over 5.5 at Bovada</a></p> <p><iframe allowtransparency="true" border="0" frameborder="no" height="140px" id="iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426" name="iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426" scrolling="no" src="http://js.sbrfeeds.com/index.php/article?iframeid=iframe-odds-widget-2036869707517426&amp;timezone=16&amp;theme=article&amp;line-type=spreadntotals.type=whole-game&amp;odds-type=US&amp;books=19,43,227,1096,999996,93,238,123,139&amp;trackers=1409845611531.xml&amp;event-id=305983" style="width:642px;border:medium none;overflow:hidden"></iframe></p>
