Another busy night of college basketball awaits on Tuesday, and we've got a pair of sports picks that we think hold great value for the public.

Baylor Bears vs. Texas Tech Raiders
The Bears have been struggling here recently, losing two games in a row, but they should be able to bounce back tonight. Oddsmakers agree, having listed Baylor as a sturdy eight-point favorite on the NCAA basketball odds board.

Baylor was looking good with three straight wins, including two victories over ranked opponents in Texas and West Virginia, but they've since dropped consecutive contests. First the Bears lost by nine at home to Oklahoma State and then they fell on the road in a tough game at Kansas - they're now at 18-7 overall and 6-6 in Big 12 play. One of the best rebounding teams out there (fourth in the country, averaging 40.8 boards a contest), Baylor's length and athleticism should serve them well heading into tournament time.

Tonight's opponent, Texas Tech, knows what struggling feels like. The Red Raiders, along with TCU, have been the whipping boys of the conference, having won just two Big 12 games (over Iowa State and Kansas State) thus far. Overall they're 12-14 on the year, and they come in having lost three straight games, with each loss coming in blowout fashion. Averaging only 60.8 points per game, Texas Tech's offensive inefficiencies have really hurt them, and that doens't bode well for tonight.

Though they've disappointed over the past week or so, the Bears are in a good position to rebound and get back on the winning side of things against a bad Texas Tech squad. Baylor's talent should prove to be too much here, and we know the motivation will be there too. Back the Bears to win comfortably despite being on the road this evening.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Baylor Bears -8 at 5Dimes

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":361909, "sportsbooksIds":[19,43,227,1096,999996,93,238,123,139], "LineTypeId":5, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Georgetown Hoyas vs. St. John's Red Storm
The Hoyas and Red Storm, two very familiar foes, will meet up tonight, and the college basketball odds have Georgetown favored by a comfortable margin here. They're laying as many as seven points.

Georgetown has been pretty hit or miss lately, making them a tricky team to back with confidence. The Hoyas have gone 2-3 over their last five games overall, but most recently they easily took care of Seton Hall in a 86-67 home win. It's a victory that should give Georgetown plenty of belief heading into what should be a much tougher matchup with St. John's. D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera has been the leader for this team, averaging 15.5 points per game thus far.

As for the Red Storm, they're playing good basketball right now. They've reeled off three straight wins, which includes home triumphs over Creighton and DePaul and a road win over Xavier. That's pushed St. John's to 17-8 overall and 6-6 in conference play. Individually, D'Angelo Harrison has stood out by putting up an average of 19.1 points per game. However, Ryhseed Jordan, Sir'Dominic Pointer and Phil Greene IV have all had their fair share of great performances too, so the Red Storm have been a very dangerous team to contend with at times.

We look for St. John's to keep it close tonight in this big conference battle. They've been on a good run and should be able to give the Hoyas some problems, or at least avoid a blowout. They've got multilple guys who can step up on any given night and get the job done, and that should serve them well here. Side with the Red Storm to stay competitive and take those seven points with your college basketball picks.

NCAA Basketball Pick: St. John’s +7 at The Greek

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":361905, "sportsbooksIds":[19,43,227,1096,999996,93,238,123,139], "LineTypeId":5, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
