Rolling into Charlotte Motor Speedway for the running of the Bank of America 500. As we give you top contenders & longshots on the bettting odds.

Last Sunday was a good day for me at the Monster Mile in Dover with Kevin Harvick taking the checkered flag as my +450 top valued favorite to keep his Sprint Cup title hopes alive. Kyle Busch advanced to the next round by taking second and my top valued longshot, Dale Earnhardt Jr. at +2500, rounded-out the Top 3.

The following is a look at my top valued favorite, contender and longshot to win this Saturday night’s race based on betting odds provided by Bet365.

Top Valued Favorite
It would be hard to not go with Kevin Harvick as your sports pick at +350 favorite to win again this week. Behind the wheel of the No. 4 car, he has easily been the most consistent driver in the Sprint Cup series this season with 19 Top 5 finishes in the first 29 point races on the schedule. He could have easily won the week before at New Hampshire after leading that race for 216 laps before a late-race gamble dropped him to 21st. The biggest reason I like Harvick again this week is his victory in this event last year that ultimately proved to be the springboard to his 2014 Sprint Cup title run.

Top Valued Contender
The hottest driver in this year’s Chase has been Denny Hamlin. After clinching a spot in this round with a victory at Chicago, he raced the No. 11 car to a second-place finish at New Hampshire. He will open the Contender Round at +1000 betting odds to keep things rolling with another Chase victory on Saturday night. Hamlin has never won a Sprint Cup race at Charlotte which helps explain the longer odds, but the value is still there when you consider that he has finished in the Top 10 in nine of his last 10 races around this track.

Top Valued Longshot
I went with Dale Earnhardt Jr. last week as my top longshot and he almost pulled off a win at Dover so as long as TopBet keeps setting his odds high I am going to stick with him as my top longshot pick. This has still been one of the more consistent race teams in the Sprint Cup series this season with the No. 88 car placing in the Top 5 in 13 events, including victories at Talladega and Daytona. This week, his odds to win at Charlotte have been set at +2000 and there is some solid value in this number after Dale Jr. placed third in the first race here this season.

Betting Odds for Other Notable Drivers
Kyle Busch’s second-place finish at Dover squeezed him into the 12th spot in the current Sprint Cup standings to qualify for the next round of the Chase and he has been listed as a +600 second-favorite to get the win this week. Matt Kenseth is next on the list at +700 followed by Martin Truex Jr. and Jimmie Johnson at +800 betting odds. Johnson was actually eliminated from the Chase after falling all the way to 41st at Dover. Joining Hamlin at +1000 betting odds is Brad Keselowski, Carl Edwards, Kurt Busch and Joey Logano.
