NASCAR’s Monster Energy’s Cup Series makes its second trip of the season to famed Daytona International Speedway with the running of the 2018 Coke Zero Sugar 400. All the action gets underway Saturday night at 7 ET with NBC carrying this event nationally.

Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick have been taking turns winning races this season, and last Sunday in Chicago it was Busch’s turn to claim his fifth checkered flag of the year with the first-place finish. Kyle Larson made his presence known by taking second ahead of Harvick, who ended up third.

The oddsmakers over at 5Dimes have posted the betting odds for Saturday night’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 race in Daytona and the following three drivers offer the best value in their numbers.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

Yeah, we're still talking about it. pic.twitter.com/RiqVJaJO3M
— NASCAR (@NASCAR) July 3, 2018
\n\n"}[/]

Top Valued Favorite: Joey Logano +800

Coming into this restrictor plate race at Daytona, Logano is one of just six drivers to win a point race this season. The main reason why he is my favorite to win this week is the fact that it happened to be in another restrictor plate race at Talladega. That alone adds some serious value to this week’s odds along with his ability to guide the No. 22 Ford team into third place in the current Cup Series standings with a total of 617 points.

As far as Logano’s recent performance at this week’s track, he managed to finish fourth in the wreck-filled Daytona 500 as one of five runs inside the top five this year. He has yet to win this race, but he did with the Daytona 500 back in 2015.

Top Valued Contender: Martin Truex Jr. +1600

The defending points champ has held his own against Harvick and Busch this season with three trips to Victory Lane and another eight runs inside the top five. June might have been his best month racing with wins at Pocono and on the road course at Sonoma. His No. 78 Toyota is fourth in the standings with 594 total points. Last Sunday at Chicago, he ended up fourth after starting 36th.

Daytona has not been one of his best tracks with an average finishing position of 22.4. However, the real value in his longer odds to win this race all lies in current form. Truex has quickly turned into one of those elite drivers who has a chance to win every race he runs.

Top Valued Long Shot: Kyle Larson +2500

Restrictor plate races have a way of spreading the betting value deep into the field. Larson is coming off a second-place finish last Sunday to post his sixth finish inside the top five this season. He has the No. 42 Chevrolet in ninth place in the standings with 524 points heading into the stretch run toward the 10-race playoff. He has done just about everything right in is fifth full-time season racing at NASCAR’s highest level except win a point race.

The main reason why I like Larson on Saturday night is the overall value in his long odds. While his past experience at Daytona is rather limited in a race that requires more guts than driving skills, his current form helps to close that gap.

Odds for Other Notable Drivers

The driver at the top of the list to win at Daytona this week is Brad Keselowski at +750. Following Logano at +800 is Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer at +1000. Kyle Busch offers some solid value at +1100 along with Denny Hamlin. The top 10 drivers on the list are topped off by Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, Kurt Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. at +1200 odds to win.

NASCAR Fantasy League 2018
