Expansion Minnesota United FC continues its tour of Texas, this week heading to Houston to face red-hot Dynamo. Can America’s MUFC pull off the upset Saturday night? Let’s look at that match as well as two tempting ones on Friday night where the dogs may be barking loudly and value may be hidden in dem bones.

Philadelphia Union vs. NYCFC

Talen Energy Stadium, Friday, April 14, 7:00 p.m. ET

CJ Sapong (3 goals) and the Union (0-2-3, 5 GF-9 GA) welcome David Villa (3 goals) and NYCYC (2-1-2, 8 GF-5 GA) to suburban Philadelphia on Friday in a huge early season game for the hosts who remain winless. NYCFC has one of the best attacks in the league and should be able to score at least twice here against struggling Philadelphia which will really need a win and 3 points. However, with playmaker extraordinaire Villa (+110 Anytime Goalscorer, at William Hill), Rodney Wallace (2 goals), Jack Harrison (1 goal), Thomas McNamara (1 goal) and NYCFC on the schedule in Chester, it seems like a bad Week 7 spot for the Union.

Vancouver Whitecaps vs. Seattle Sounders

BC Place, Friday, April 14, 7:00 p.m. ET

Both clubs need a win Friday night in British Columbia, with Clint Dempsey (2 goals) and defending MLS-champs Seattle (1-3-1, 7 GF-6 GA) and host and 10th-place Vancouver (1-1-3, 6 GF-10 GA) both sitting on one win heading in. This will be the third match in 10 days for the Whitecaps after playing Mexican side Tigres UANL in CONCACAF CL play last Wednesday and Real Salt Lake in Utah last Saturday in Week 6.

A look at the L5 series meetings shows the Over 4-1 with Nicolás Lodeiro (2 goals) and the Sounders having won their L2 Cascadia Cup trips to BC Place in Vancouver (Rainy, 40°), outscoring the Whitecaps (40/1 to win MLS, Intertops), 5-1, in the process. And a deeper handicapping dive reveals Seattle has W3 straight in Vancouver (7 GF-1 GA) and are actually better in Canada against the Whitecaps (4-3-2, 14 GF-9 GA) than it is at Home in the US with Vancouver holding an edge in the Evergreen State (3-1-4, 10 GF-14 GA). This one may be worth looking at in the Asian Handicap marketplace with the first goal likely being immense.

Final Score Prediction: Whitecaps 1 Sounders 2Free MLS Pick: Sounders AH +1 -182 at Intertops

Houston Dynamo vs. Minnesota United FC

BBVA Compass Stadium, Saturday, April 15, 8:30 p.m. ET

Erik Torres and the Houston Dynamo play host to expansion side Minnesota United, who finally played in their first Under in Week 6 at FC Dallas. Here in H-town on Saturday, expect the hosts to go over the Total themselves here with confidence from a nice Regular Season start after past dismal seasons. And with Christian Ramirez (4 goals), Kevin Molino (3 goals) and Minnesota (200/1 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) proving they can score and its matches still averaging a fat 5.33 gpg, backing the Over as well as Romell Quioto (3 goals, +150 Anytime Goalscorer, Paddy Power), Alberth Ellis (1 goal; +125 Anytime Goalscorer, Bet365), Andrew Wenger and the host Dynamo (28/1 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) here in Houston (Mostly Clear, 69°) makes an awful lot of sense.

Final Score Prediction: Dynamo 3 Minnesota United 1Free MLS Picks: Over 3 at Bookmaker
