There are just two games on Wednesday as the MLS tries to squeeze some matches (and attention) in before the NFL Regular Season kicks off on Thursday night in Denver, so let’s handicap those two games before looking at this weekend’s full slab of 10 more matches to be played and which will be handicapped in this space on Thursday. And with some very solid Trends in both the Montreal Impact-Orlando City SC and LA Galaxy-Real Salt Lake matchups, let’s see if we can keep up that positive roll after a pleasant 11-2 weekend here in Week 26 with a couple of jump-starter Week 27 Soccer picks for our Sportsbook Review website readers.

Montreal Impact vs. Orlando City, Saputo Stadium, Montreal, Quebec, 7:30 p.m. EDT
A nice Trend for sports gamblers to use here before we start: Orlando City has scored in 15 straight matches in all competitions heading into this first game of MLS Week 27, with the Over presumed (2½) going 13-3 over their L16 and the Both Teams To Score (Yes) cashing at a mind-boggling 15-1 clip (over those 16) with 54 total goals having been scored in the L15 OCSC games (3.60 gpg). So we’ll definitely work with that three different ways here when OCSC (6-13-7, 41 GF-44 GA) heads north to The Land of Maple Syrup and Free Health Care and the province of Quebec to face Didier Drogba (8 goals, Anytime Goalscorer +125, Ladbrokes), Ignacio Piatti (14 goals, Anytime Goalscorer +140, Ladbrokes) and the Montreal Impact (9-10-7, 40 GF-38 GA; 20/1 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) in this midweek Eastern Conference tilt (MLS Live, TV 27 (US), TSN5, TVA Sports (CAN), Sky Sports 2/HD (UK). With 2015 MLS Rookie of the Year Cyle Larin (13 goals, Anytime Goalscorer +187, Bet365) and OCSC (50/1 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) expanding into the MLS just last season, these teams have only met four times (ORL 2-1 MTL, ORL 2-1 MTL, MTL 2-0 ORL, MTL 2-2 ORL) ever with the Home side an unbeaten 3-1-0 (W-D-L), the Over 3-1 and the BTTS (Yes) also 2-1. So can we just plug in that long OCSC Trend with the Home and Over Trends and see what happens? We can.

Final Score Prediction: Impact 2 Orlando City 1
MLS Picks: Over 2½ -154, Impact -143 at Intertops
MLS Props Pick: Both Teams To Score (Yes) -138 (888Sport)

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2997536, "sportsbooksIds":[180,118,300,1275,92], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1 }[/]

Real Salt Lake vs. LA Galaxy, Rio Tinto Stadium, Sandy, Utah 9:30 p.m. EDT
Gonna go Art (Current Form, Feelings) over Science (Trends) here and ignore the fact that 16 goals have been scored in the L5 meetings in this series and let the recent Trend of low-scoring games being played by the Galaxy, prevail as there were 0 goals scored in the 1st Half of Galaxy Home matches the L2 weeks with the first score of the game in their last outing against the Crew coming in the 78th minute, so perhaps a Props bet on a 0-0 Halftime scoreline is in order here (0-0 Halftime Score +200, Bet365) in the Beehive State on Wednesday night (MLS Live, KMYU, TWCSN-LA (US). A look at the L5 meetings in this Western Conference series (LA 5-2 RSL, RSL 3-0 LA, LA 1-0 RSL, RSL 0-0 LA, LA 5-0 RSL) reveals the Home club an unbeaten 4-1-0, outscoring the visitors 14-2 and a deeper handicapping dive shows that Giovanni dos Santos (10 goals), Robbie Keane (7 goals) and the Galaxy (4/1 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) haven’t scored a goal in Sandy, Utah against Real Salt Lake (10/1 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) since way back in Round 1 of the 2014 MLS Playoffs, going scoreless in their L3 matches here, two of which had 0-0 scorelines.
