Who: New England Revolution vs. DC United
What: MLS Regular Season Week 2
Where: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Massachusetts
When: Saturday, March 12, 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT [20:00]
TV: MLS Live, MLS Direct Kick, CSN-New England, NewsChannel 8 (US)
3-Way Odds: New England -149, DC United +461, Draw +303 (Pinnacle)
Total: 2½ Over -120, Under +100 (Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook)
The Skinny: Last season, DC United won the season series with a Win at Home at RFK (2-1) and a Draw in Foxborough (1-1)—and a 2-1 win at Home at RFK in the MLS Cup Playoffs—but Charlie Davies (+142 Anytime Goalscorer, 888sport), 21-year-old Uruguayan Diego Fagúndez (+187 Anytime Goalscorer, Paddy Power) and the host Revolution have a 4-game unbeaten streak against DC United at Home at Gillette Stadium in league play and few teams have had much success heading into this stadium of late. The Both Teams To Score ‘Yes’ prop bet side has W4 straight in this series (DC 2-1, DC 2-1, NE 1-1, NE 2-1). Give Logic a big hug.

Final Score Prediction: New England 2 DC United 1
Soccer Picks: New England Revolution  -149 & Both Teams To Score Yes -118

Who: Montréal Impact vs. New York Red Bulls
What: MLS Regular Season Week 2
Where: Stade Saputo, Montréal, Quebec, Canada
When: Saturday, March 12, 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT [21:00]
TV: MLS Live, MLS Direct Kick, MSG+, TVA Sports (US)
3-Way Odds: Montréal -143, New York Red Bulls +206, Draw +248 (Pinnacle)
Total: 2.75 Over +104, Under -116 (Pinnacle)
The Skinny: The L5 meetings in this series have seen the Both Teams To Score ‘Yes’ prop win (NY 2-1, MTL 1-1. NY 4-2, MTL 2-2, NY 4-0), while the Over has collected at the betting windows 4 of those 5 times. RBNY has 6-game unbeaten streak against Montréal (4-2-0) with the last Impact win over Bradley Wright-Phillips (+147 Anytime Goalscorer, 888sport) and New York coming at their first meeting here at Stade Saputo in 2013. The Impact are aiming for a March 19 debut from Chelsea legend Didier Drogba (11 goals in 11 games last season) at Toyota Stadium (Grass) in Frisco, Texas against FC Dallas meaning that the magical 37-year-old Ivorian Striker will miss the club’s first 5 matches—all played on Artificial Surfaces—to avoid potential damage to his UEFA Champions league-winning chronically pained Knees.

Final Score Prediction: Montréal Impact 1 New York Red Bulls 2
Soccer Picks: Over 2½ -130 & Both Teams To Score Yes -160

Who: Real Salt Lake vs. Seattle Sounders
What: MLS Regular Season Week 2
Where: Rio Tinto Stadium, Sandy, Utah
When: Saturday, March 12, 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT [21:00]
TV: MLS Live, MLS Direct Kick, JOEtv (KZJO), KMYU (US)
3-Way Odds: Real Salt Lake +130, Seattle +220, Draw +230 (Pinnacle)
Total: 2½ Over +110, Under -130 (Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook)
The Skinny: Ring, ding, dong (Keep their heads ringing.) Clint Dempsey and the Sounders are as down as they have been in some time and Seattle’s last win here at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah was way back on May 28, 2011 when we are still young and naive. And with Joao Plata (+240 Anytime Goalscorer, Paddy Power) clicking and RSL having W4 here against the Sounders, taking a gamble on a couple of nice plusses seems like a good Rx here in the Beehive State. The Over is 4-1 ATS in the L5 in this series (SEA 3-1 RSL, RSL 2-0 SEA, SEA 3-2 RSL, RSL 2-1 COL, SEA 4-0 COL) and, as you can see, the Home team has done very well, outscoring the visitors, 14-4 over that span.

Final Score Prediction: Real Salt Lake 1 Seattle 1
Soccer Picks: Real Salt Lake +135 & Joao Plata Anytime Goalscorer +240

Who: Colorado Rapids vs. LA Galaxy
What: MLS Regular Season Week 2
Where: Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, Commerce City, Colorado
When: Saturday, March 12, 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT [Sunday 00:00]
TV: MLS Live, MLS Direct Kick, TWCSN-Los Angeles, Altitude (US), Sky Sports 2/HD (UK)
3-Way Soccer Odds: Colorado +215, LA Galaxy +125, Draw +250 (Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook)
Total: 2½ Over -120, Under -100 (Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook)
The Skinny: The Dick is the site of this Western Conference matchup in the 5,000-plus feet of Altitude in the Rocky Mountains between the Rapids and Robbie Keane (+137 Anytime Goalscorer +137, William Hill) and the LA Galaxy. The Galaxy have a 4-game unbeaten streak against Colorado and have W2 straight here in Commerce City and with Mike Magee, Keane and all that talent, are a good team to back every match (site depending) and an automatic Over play, especially when it (the Total) can be found at 2½. L5 Meetings: COL 1-3 LA, LA 1-1 COL, LA 6-0 COL, COL 3-4 LA, COL 1-0 LA.

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2996663, "sportsbooksIds":[43], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
Final Score Prediction: Colorado Rapids 1 LA Galaxy 2
Soccer Picks: LA Galaxy +131, Over 2½ -123 & Robbie Keane Anytime Goalscorer +137

Who: Columbus Crew FC vs. Philadelphia Union
What: MLS Regular Season Week 2
Where: Mapfre Stadium, Columbus, Ohio
When: Saturday, March 12, 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT [00:30]
TV: MLS Live, MLS Direct Kick, Live Well Network, TWCSC-Ohio, CW-Columbus (US)
3-Way Odds: Columbus -180, Philadelphia +515, Draw +300 (Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook)
Total: 2½ Over -140, Under +120 (Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook)
The Skinny: Philadelphia (66/1 to win MLS Cup, William Hill) went 10-7-17 (42 GF-55 GA) last season but opens this Regular Season with two tough Road matches (FC Dallas, Crew) so getting a result here against Kei Kamara (+137 Anytime Goalscorer, Betfred) and the host Crew would be a victory of sorts for the Union. The Both Teams To Score ‘Yes’ is 4-1 ATS in the L5 meetings in this series (PHI 1-2 CLB, PHI 3-0 CLB, CLB 4-1 PHI, CLB 2-1 PHI, PHI 2-3 CLB) while the Over has W7 straight and 9 of the L10 and is definitely worth a shot if at 2½ (Total goals) with the two teams averaging a Total of 3.60 gpg in those L10 games with the Both Teams To Score ‘Yes’ prop going a profitable 8-2 for those with the access.

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":299666, "sportsbooksIds":[43], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
Final Score Prediction: Columbus 3 Philadelphia 1
Soccer Picks: Columbus Crew -175 (William Hill), Over 2½ -138 (Matchbook)

Who: FC Dallas vs. Houston Dynamo
What: MLS Regular Season Week 2
Where: BBVA Compass Stadium, Houston, Texas
When: Saturday, March 12, 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30p.m. PT [01:30]
TV: MLS Live, MLS Direct Kick, ROOT Sports SW, TXA-21 (US)
3-Way Odds: Houston +167, FC Dallas +175, Draw +237 (Pinnacle)
Total: 2½ Over -110, Under -101 (Pinnacle)
The Skinny: The Both Teams To Score “Yes” (-125, 32Red) is 4-1 ATS in the L5 meetings in this series in which FC Dallas has W5, outscoring Houston by a 14-5 in the process. Like the RSL-Colorado game above, this is one of those games that fits the Draw mold—because of the site (Houston)—but with Mauro Díaz, Mauro Rosales and Colombian Fabián Castillo, FCD has a shot at winning its first MLS Cup this season and the Dynamo have seemed to be on the decline for a couple of years. That 5-game Win-streak in which FC Dallas has averaged 2.8 gpg is just impossible to ignore, as is the (market high) price of of the underdogs from Big D at +175 (Pinnacle). Very cliché, but the first goal here will be massive.

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2984895, "sportsbooksIds":[43], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
Final Score Prediction: Houston 1 FC  Dallas 2
Soccer Pick: FC Dallas Draw No Bet -105

Who: Sporting Kansas City vs. Vancouver FC
What: MLS Regular Season Week 2
Where: Sporting Park, Kansas City, Kansas
When: Saturday, March 12, 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT [01:30]
TV: MLS Live, MLS Direct Kick, TSN2, KMCI-38 (US)
3-Way Odds: Sporting Kansas City -105, Vancouver +300, Draw +250 (Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook)
Total: 2½ Over +102, Under -114 (Pinnacle)
The Skinny: This seems like a game the hosts have to have for their heads but it seems Sporting Kansas City is down some and Vancouver and GK David Ousted are slowly on the up, with the Whitecaps going and unbeaten 5-1-0 in the Preseason but they lost last week to the Impact (3-2) and host SKC has never lost to Vancouver at Home and the Whitecaps only win ever against the MLS Team Formerly Known As The Kansas City Wizards was at BC Place in Vancouver in 2014 (2-0). L5 Meetings: SKC 4-3 VAN, VAN 0-1 SKC, VAN 2-0 SKC, SKC 1-1 VAN, VAN 1-3 SKC.

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2996669, "sportsbooksIds":[43], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
Final Score Prediction: Sporting Kansas City 1 Vancouver 1
Soccer Pick: None

Sunday, March 13, 2016

Who: New York City FC vs. Toronto FC
What: MLS Regular Season Week 2
Where: Yankee Stadium, The Bronx, New York
When: Sunday, March 13, 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT [21:00]
TV: ESPN2, MLS Live, MLS Direct Kick, SN1 (US), Sky Sports 1/HD (UK)
3-Way Odds: NYCFC +140, Toronto +180, Draw +260 (Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook)
Total: 3 Over -130, Under +115 (Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook)
The Skinny: Italian sensation Sebastian Giovinco (+120 Anytime Goalscorer, bet365) and Toronto FC (20/1 to win MLS Cup, William Hill) head to The House That Ruth Built—Yankee Stadium in The Bronx—on Sunday to face David Villa (+105 Anytime Goalscorer, Ladbrokes), Frank Lampard, Andrea Pirlo and second-season club New York City FC. last week NYFC defeated the Fire in Chicago, 4-3 and with TFC (15-4-15, 58 GF-58 GA) and the prolific Giovinco good at putting the sheep’s bladder in the net, this could evolve into a relatively high-scoring affair and game played in the tight confines of Yankee Stadium strongly skewed to the Over last season as the stadium was built for MLB not MLS and the number of scoring opportunities per half (last season) was mind-boggling and we may see Totals of 3½ hung here at some point.

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2996674, "sportsbooksIds":[43], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
Final Score Prediction: NYFC 2 Toronto FC 2
Soccer Picks: Over 3 -133 & Sebastian Giovinco +120 Anytime Goalscorer

Who: San José Earthquakes vs. Portland Timbers
What: MLS Regular Season Week 2
Where: Sunday, March 13, Avaya Stadium, San José, California
When: 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT [20:00]
TV: FS1, MLS Live, MLS Direct Kick (US), Sky Sports 2/HD (UK)
3-Way Odds: San José +148, Portland +211, Draw +234 (Pinnacle)
Total: 2½ Over +109, Under -122 (Pinnacle)
The Skinny: Nate Borchers and the defending MLS champion Portland Timbers (15-8-11, 41 GF-29 GA) head to Do You Know The Way To San José? On Sunday to face Chris Wondolowski (+170 Anytime Goalscorer, William Hill) in the MLS Week 2 finale and what looks like a tough handicap and another one of those games that looks like it could be a Draw, be it 0-0, 1-1 or 2-2. Portland (7/1 to win MLS Cup, William Hill) is a crazy 7-5-1 lifetime (19 GF-13 GA) and the Timbers are unbeaten in the L5 meetings in this series (3-2-0), outscoring San José (13-8-13, 41 GF-39 GA) by a 9-4 margin in those five MLS matches. The L3 in this series have been Clean Sheets (SJ 0-0 POR, POR 1-0 SJ, POR 3-0 SJ) and the L2 have gone Under which was preceded by 3 straight Overs and with Portland being the champs and losing just once in 13 league meetings to the Earthquakes, backing Portland in the Draw No Bet (+120, Paddy Power) market is the best advice along with contemplating a small Draw bet in a game which should have few real quality shots on Target in the Golden State, California.

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2996677, "sportsbooksIds":[43], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
Final Score Prediction: San José 1 Portland 1
Soccer Pick: Timbers Draw No Bet +120
