What's the best soccer pick for this one?
Though Chivas is the home team in this matchup, the soccer odds are very close for the upcoming game in Los Angeles. They can be backed at +150, while Toronto is at +180.
Believe it or not, the safe bet between these out-of-form teams may be on the draw, which can be found at a price of +225. We've seen 12 ties between Chivas and Toronto so far this season.
What if we told you the Goats hadn't won an MLS game since March 30th? Crazy right? It has truly been a disastrous few months for the club, there's no doubt about it.
That's a span of 14 matches right there. They've been able to draw San Jose, New England, and Montreal, but have also lost to the likes of Colorado, Real Salt Lake, Seattle, and the L.A. Galaxy at home.
Following a better run of games in which they had three successive ties, the Goats turned around and were firmly beaten 3-1 in Philadelphia against the Union.
Jose Correa Villero scored the only goal for Chivas in a match in which they were vastly outplayed. They were out-shot by a three-to-one margin and also had Josue Soto sent off after receiving two yellow cards.
Already 10 points behind the second-worst team in the Western Conference, this has been a season to forget for Chivas. They have just 14 total points through 19 MLS fixtures, so any points at this juncture would be a welcome sight.

Ryan Nelsen's first season as a coach hasn't exactly gone too well. His Reds are second-from-bottom in the Eastern Conference, with only DC United ahead of them..
It will take some time for Nelsen to figure things out, but until then it could be a mighty struggle for Toronto.
That's been especially true lately, as the Reds haven't won in any of their last four league matches. This past weekend they were beaten down in a 3-0 loss against Sporting Kansas City. Toronto mustered up just four total shots, two of which were on goal.
Nothing is really going right for the Reds. They've only won once at home and they've lost six of nine matches outside of Toronto, which doesn't bode well for this trip to L.A.
Robert Earnshaw has practically been the only bright spot for the team this season. The striker, who was born in Zambia, has scored six goals this season and will be the one the Chivas defense needs to track most intently on Wednesday.
The Reds, as we mentioned, haven't been doing well, but fortunately for them they get to square off against another poor performing team in Chivas.
It's quite difficult to pick a side here, as neither team has done anything to deserve your faith in them with your sports picks. Toronto has been slightly better, but their road record is definitely concerning to the casual viewer.
However, look at Chivas and you see a team that's gone 2-2-5 (five losses) at the StubHub Center this season, while scoring just nine total goals in those games.
All in all, we just can't find an edge here, so we're going to play it safe and take a draw for our sports pick, listed at +225 at the top sportsbooks.
