DC United has been the top dog in the East Conference so far this MLS season, but it's going to be a tough match up against a rock-solid Orlando City team. Let's examine the MLS odds on offer.

Odds Overview
DCU has enjoyed a stellar start to their season, but they find themselves classified as big-time underdogs for this weekend's match. Orlando City will be at home and enjoying that awesome support from their stoked fanbase, which is a big reason why they're priced out at roughly -105 to pick up the three points.

That means you can back DC United at an intriguing +300, though some sportsbooks like Bookmaker have an even higher number of +315. A draw meanwhile can be locked in at around +265.

Orlando City
The Lions have now gone unbeaten in four straight matches following one of their best results of the season, a 3-2 away victory over the Chicago Fire.

Orlando City was the clear-cut underdog coming in against Chicago, and things weren't so looking good with the team down 2-1 heading into the closing stages of the match. However, the Lions kept battling and evened the honors with a goal from Cyle Larin in the 82nd minute, and four minutes later an own goal from the Fire gave Orlando City the lead. The visitors were then able to hold on in the dying minutes for the huge three points.

Kaka, despite getting up there in age (36), has made a seamless transition to American soccer and clearly stands out among the rest. He's scored a team-best six goals in 14 appearances, with only Larin (five) close. No other member of the club has scored more than twice, and maybe that lack of depth has hurt the Lions early on in their MLS lives. All in all, Orlando City has 19 goals scored and 19 goals allowed heading into Sunday's encounter.

DC United
Despite a rough three-match stretch in which DCU hasn't picked up a win, they still find themselves atop the Eastern Conference. United has earned 28 points through 16 matches, with eight wins, four draws and four losses alongside a goal differential of +5 (20 goals for, 15 against).

It's not like DCU has been dominant each and every time they've taken the pitch, but they're finding ways to grind out positive results, and that's allowed them to build up an already strong seven-point lead in the Eastern Conference. New England is sitting at 21 points with a match in hand and is the closest contender to the crown in the East.

Individually, Jairo Arrieta currently holds the goalscoring lead for the club with five goals, while 32-year-old Chris Rolfe has chipped in with four goals of his own. Like with Orlando City, no one else on DCU has scored more than twice, so it's been a top-heavy approach in front of net thus far.

MLS Pick
This is a tough call, as you've got one of the best teams in the league available for such an appealing price on the MLS odds board. However, Orlando has quickly become a place no opposing team wants to visit, and the home-field advantage has been clear to see for the Lions. They're enjoying a very solid debut season in the MLS and haven't looked out of place whatsoever.

And, this weekend we expect Orlando City to keep momentum high with another three points in what should be another very closely-contested match.

DCU has hit a wall here of late, failing to win in any of their last three matches, and it's obviously not going to be easy here against the Lions. So, with our soccer picks, we're going to add the favored Orlando City to protect their home turf and extend their undefeated streak to five matches.

Pick: Orlando City 2 DC United 1
