Let’s look at all six MLS Regular Season matches to be played in Week 26 from Thursday night to Saturday night and try to make both some situational and Trend-based soccer picks for all of them.

New York City FC vs DC United
David Villa (16 goals), Frank Lampard (9 goals), Thomas McNamara (4 goals) and NYCFC (11-8-8, 45 GF-45 GFA) welcome now 6th-place 2nd-place DC United (7-11-8, 33 GF-33 GA) to Yankee Stadium in The Boogie Down Bronx on Thursday night (MLS Live, YES, NewsChannel 8 (US), Sky Sports 1/HD (UK)) for an Eastern Conference showdown. With NYCFC expanding into the MLS just last season, these two clubs have only played three times (DCU 0-2 NYCFC, DCU 2-1 NYCFC 3-1 DCU), but with DC United coming off a 6-2 burst of scoring in MLS Week 25 against the Chicago Fire, backing the Over 2½ in the tight confines of a stadium built for MLB is one of the calls here, along with the hosts NYCFC (5-5-3, 22 GF-22 GA at Home) who will want the Win and all 3 points after falling at Orlando City, 2-1 in Week 25.

Don’t sleep on NYCFC (8/1 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) in the big scheme of things this MLS season although Patrick Mullins (6 goals) and DCU (33/1 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) are one of those clubs that only seems to play well at Home (1-7-4, 7 GF-18 GA on Road). A nice logical spot to back the hosts, the Over (2½ -154, Intertops) and the Both Teams To Score (Yes) Prop bet (-162, Bet365) in the first game of MLS Week 26 and the only match of the day on Thursday night.

Final Score Prediction: NYCFC 3 DC United 2
Free MLS Picks: NYCFC -133, Over 2½ -154 at Intertops
Free MLS Props Picks: Both Teams To Score (Yes) -162 at Bet365, Over 3½ +220 at PaddyPower

Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs NY Red Bulls
The 9th-place (Western Conference) Vancouver Whitecaps (8-7-12, 34 GF-33 GA) play host to Bradley Wright-Phillips (16 goals), Mike Grella (6 goals) and the New York Red Bulls (11-7-9, 46 GF-35 GA) at BC Place in Vancouver on Saturday night (MLS Live, MSG (US); TSN1 (CAN), Sky Sports 2/HD (UK)) in a game much more important to the Canadian hosts who sit 4 points (31 points) off 6th-place and the Playoff Redline in the West. The only 6 meetings in this series (RBNY 1-2 VAN, VAN 4-1 RBNY, RBNY 1-2 VAN, VAN 1-1 RBNY, RBNY 1-1 VAN, VAN 1-1 RBNY) reveal;s the Home side has only won once (1-3-2) (W-D-L) with the Both Teams To score (Yes) a perfect 6-0 with the Over W3 in a row after three straight 1-1 scorelines to start the series.

Pedro Morales (6 goals), Kekuta Manneh (5 goals) and the Whitecaps (50/1 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) and Danish GK David Ousted are a good club for keeping Pace down, so expect the high-flying Red Bulls (+650 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) to be somewhat stymied on the Road in this scheduling spot (1-6-7, 19 GF-24 GA on Road) against a side which just came off a 0-0 score at LA Galaxy.

Final Score Prediction: Whitecaps 1 Red Bulls 1
Free MLS Picks: Under 2½ -105 at Intertops

New England Revolution vs Colorado Rapids
Lee Nguyen (5 goals), Kei Kamara (4 goals) and the 8th-place New England Revolution (6-9-11, 29 GF-47 GA) welcome Tim Howard and the Colorado Rapids (11-10-4, 28 GF-22 GA) to Gillette stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Saturday night (MLS Live, Altitude, CSN-New England) for this inter-conference affair. The L5 meetings in this series (COL 0-2 NE, NE 3-0 COL, COL 2-1 NE, NE 2-1 COL, COL 2-2 NE) shows the Home club to be 3-1-1 and the Over 4-1 with the L2 games here in New England seeing exactly 3 goals scored. A close look shows these two teams have just 1 Win in the L12 combined games (COL), so expect some tentative play here.

Online sportsbook Intertops—which offers a 200% Cash Bonus for new Sign-ups and which has earned an A grade in the best sportsbooks ratings here at Sportsbook Review—has the Rapids currently priced at 8/1 to win MLS Cup with the Revolution at 50/1 to win MLS Cup in their Futures Book (Outrights) betting menu, but Colorado has just been too weak on the Road this season (2-6-4, 12 GF-17 GA) to recommend a Futures play despite the early success. With the Rapids traveling 1,971 miles and losing 2 Body Clock Hours in their Travel from Mountain Daylight Time to Eastern Daylight Time, this one is probably best left alone although the Under (-133, Intertops) may be worth a look for those really interested.

Final Score Prediction: Revolution 1 Rapids 1
Free MLS Picks: Under 2½ -133 at Intertops

Chicago Fire vs Philadelphia Union
The Chicago Fire (5-8-12, 29 GF-40 GA) have the least points out of all 20 MLS clubs (23), and here they welcome Chris Pontius (10 goals), Roland Alberg (9 goals), CJ Sapong (7 goals) and the Philadelphia Union (11-7-9, 47 GF-41 GA) to Toyota Park in suburban Chicago on Saturday night (MLS Live, CSN Plus, The Comcast Network) for an Eastern Conference match which seems way more important to the host Fire who now sit 8 points off the Redline (31 points) in the division as the MLS Regular Season starts to wind down.

The L5 matches in this series (PHI 4-3 FIRE, FIRE 1-0 PHI, PHI 3-3 FIRE, FIRE 1-0 PHI, PHI 1-1 FIRE) reveals the Home side to be an unbeaten 3-2-0 with three Unders in those 5 meetings, but sometimes the emotions, moment and particular match are more important than any past series numbers and that’s exactly what we have here as the Union was a slightly worse side during that time span while Chicago (4-6-2, 16 GF-14 GA) was actually a little bit better. With the host and 10th-place Fire (150/1 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) playing feisty and fast with nothing to lose, backing the Over and the BTTS (Yes) seems wise in this particular spot, especially after an 8-goal game at DC United. The Union (20/1 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) can win this one, despite the 34-6 Road record (18 GF-22 GA) heading in this weekend. The Union are playing some good fútbol.

Final Score Prediction: Fire 1 Union 2
Free MLS Picks: Union +235, Over 2½ -133 at Intertops
Free MLS Props Picks: Both Teams To Score (Yes) -162 at Bet365

FC Dallas vs Portland Timbers
Saturday night’s alright for fighting but it’s also alright for a Western Conference showdown between Fanendo Adi (13 goals), Diego Valeri (10 goals), Nat Borchers the defending MLS champion Portland Timbers (9-8-10, 41 GF-41 GA) and host and 1st-place FC Dallas (14-6-7, 42 GF-35 GA)—still in search of its first-ever MLS Cup—from suburban Dallas and yet another Toyota -named stadium (KPDX, TXA-21, TWCSC-Texas, MLS Live (US). Beep beep. The L5 meetings (DAL 2-1 POR, POR 1-3 DAL, DAL 2-3 POR, POR 3-1 DAL, DAL 4-1 POR) in this Western Conference series shows the Home team to be 3-1-1 and the Over to be a perfect 5-0 in games averaging exactly 4.0 gpg while a deeper handicapping dive reveals 9 Overs in the L10 meetings and 6 straight.

FC Dallas is 5-3-1 lifetime at Home (21 GF-9 GA) against the Timbers (22/1 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) who have still yet won a match on the Road the MLS Regular Season (0-6-7, 10 GF-21 GA). So backing Michael Barrios (8 goals), Max Urruti (7 goals), Tesho Akindele (6 goals) and host FC Dallas (+550 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) to win in this situation seems wise as does backing that Over (2½ -123, Intertops) at your sportsbook in what should be one of the more entertaining matches in an abbreviated MLS weekend. Don’t miss this one. FC Dallas is an unbeaten 9-4-0 at Home and has outscored opponents, 27-9 there—the most dominant Home Record and scoring stat in the entire league at this point in time. The Team Formerly Known As The Dallas Burn and Colombian Head Coach Óscar Pareja seem awfully motivated this season.

Final Score Prediction: FC Dallas 3 Timbers 2
Free MLS Picks: FC Dallas -154, Over 2½ -143 at Intertops
Free MLS Props Pick: Both Teams To Score (Yes) -142 at Bet365

LA Galaxy vs Columbus Crew
The LA Galaxy (9-13-4, 40 GF-26 GA) play host to the Columbus Crew (5-11-9, 24 GF-40 GA) at the StubHub Center in suburban Los Angeles on Saturday night (MLS Live, TWCSN-LA, TWCSN-Ohio, CW-Columbus) in a big match for both sides and the last of an abbreviated MLS Regular Season Week 26. The L5 meetings in this inter-conference series (CLB 4-1 LA, CLB 1-1 LA, LA 2-1 CLB, CLB 1-1 LA, CLB 0-1 LA) reveals that 4 of the L5 games have been played in Ohio, so with the Ola Kamara (10 goals), Ethan Finley (5 goals) and the Crew (100/1 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) so poor away from home this MLS Regular Season (1-3-7, 9 GF-18 GA on Road) and having to travel 2,243 miles and losing 3 Body Clock Hours (EDT to PDT) here means that the Crew’s Circadian Rhythms will be all messed up and that they may have a little Jet Lag for this late match which will be starting at 10:30 p.m. Ohio time and ending after Midnight for their EDT bodies.

Big edges to GK Brian Rowe and the host Galaxy (+450 to win MLS Cup, Intertops) who are an unbeaten 6-7-0 (24 GF-11 GA) at Home and may have some solid value for betting pick in the Three-Way marketplace (-143 Three-Way, 7/10 Fractional, 1.70 Decimal, Intertops), especially coming off that aforementioned 0-0 Draw to the Whitecaps here last weekend. Irishman Robbie Keane (7 goals), Giovanni Dos Santos (9 goals), Mike Magee (6 goals), Gyasi Zardes (6 goals), former Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and the Galaxy are just 10-4-5 lifetime here in Carson against Columbus (28 GF-22 GA), but those were much stronger and more experienced Crew sides.

Final Score Prediction: LA Galaxy 2 Crew 1
Free MLS Pick: LA Galaxy -143 at Intertops
MLS Rundown Picks Record Last Week 25: 12-7-0
MLS Rundown Picks Record Weeks 18-24: 68-51-6
