We are pleased to share our free soccer picks for this intriguing matchup between the last place team in the Eastern Conference and the first-place team in the Western Conference.

Chicago Fire vs. Seattle Sounders
MLS Live, CSN-Chicago, JOEtv (USA) 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT
The scuffling Seattle Sounders head to the Midwest to face the even more scuffling Chicago Fire at Toyota Park in Bridgeview in this Week 21 contest, probably more important to Seattle, which should at least be playing in the MLS postseason when all is said and done. So, with the Fire flickering, is this the perfect opportunity to make a pick on the Sounders and the + Saturday night.

The last place team in the Eastern Conference hosts the first-place team in the Western Conference in this Week 21 match when the Seattle Sounders (10-2-7, 25 GF-18 GA) head to Toyota Park in the Chicago suburb of Bridgeview on Saturday night to face the Chicago Fire (4-3-9, 18 GF-24 GA). Oddsmakers here have made the host Fire +125 favorites, visiting Seattle +187 Underdogs with the Draw priced at +229 (bet365). The Total Goals in this weekend fixture has been set at 2½, with both the Over and Under priced at -111 (bet365). Some Props wagers for this game from the Windy City where they vote early and often : Both Teams To Score: ‘Yes’ -137, ‘No’ +100 (bet365); To Win To Nil: Fire +300, Sounders +450 (bet365); and, Draw No Bet: Fire -150, Sounders +110 (bet365).

More Week 21 Soccer Picks: Vancouver vs. KC ... NY vs. New England ... NYFC vs. Toronto

Seattle Sounders FC
The Seattle Sounders (3-1-5 Road, 11 GF-12 GA) have really been struggling lately, but did find a way to top Eastern Conference-leading DC United, 1-0 on Friday night at CenturyLink Field in Seattle (+500 to win MLS Cup, BetVictor) as Tyrone Mears scored a late game-winner—his first MLS goal—for the hosts. The Rave Green were without the services of striker Clint Dempsey (7 goals) who was playing for the USMNT in a Friendly against Guatemala. The win was Seattle’s first in its L4 games and snapped a rare three-match Sounders losing streak. Besides Dempsey and the promising Mears, the sounders will look to Obafemi Martins (7 goals), Lamar Neagle (3 goals), Chad Barrett (3 goals), Marco Pappa (2 goals), Leo Gonzalez (1 goal), Gonzalo Pineda and captain Brad Evans for some scoring, but this is still a very frustrated team which has had trouble scoring goals of late and the Seattle Defense and GK Stefan Frei have really been up against it these last couple of weeks and have seen the upstart Vancouver Whitecaps challenge their hold on the top spot in the Western Conference.

Chicago Fire Soccer Club
The Chicago Fire (4-0-4 Home, 11 GF-9 GA) have just one win in their L10 games, and in their last game here at Home at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Eastern Conference leaders DC United shut out Chicago 1-0, while on Friday in Week 20 play, Chicago drew 1-1 with the Dynamo in Houston. Chicago (Highest odds 100/1 to win MLS Cup, BetVictor) to earn a point, but the Fire (15 points) are 6 points off 6th place and the last playoff spot in the decision and in desperate need of some wins in the near future. On the attack, Chicago and Head Coach Frank Yallop will look to Jeff Larentowicz (4 goals), David Accam (4 goals), Kennedy Igboananike (2 goals), Harry Shipp (2 goals), Romanian midfielder Razvan Coci? (1 goal), Jason Johnson (1 goal), Shaun Maloney (1 goal) and Joevin Jones for scoring. In Goal, Chicago has been giving Sean Johnson the start over Jon Busch of late, but this is a team which allows goals and up against a scuffling Sounders club here on Saturday, soccer odds are the visitors from Oz will find a way to get a goal or two.

Current Form, Series Trends, Conclusions
In this series lifetime in MLS action, the Seattle Sounders are an unbeaten 6-3-0 (13 GF-7 GA) versus the Chicago Fire and 3-2-0 (7 GF-4 GA) against them in Chicagoland. The Sounders (Current Form: WLWLLLW) and Fire (Current Form: DWLLLD) have seen the L3 games in this series go Over the familiar posted 2½ Totals—(CHI 2-3 SEA, SEA 2-1 CHI, CHI 1-2 SEA)—and, as you can see the Both Teams To Score prop (‘Yes’) would have won all three games. So, what's the best soccer pick for Bridgeview on Saturday night? More of the same probably—both teams scoring but better, more talented and desperate (now) side finding a way to put the ball in the back of the net a couple of times and head back to the Pacific Northwest with the 3 points and a little confidence. Many teams can find a way to win when they have to, but Chicago isn’t one of them.

MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER PICKS: Over 2½ -111, Sounders Draw No Bet +110, Both Teams To Score ‘Yes’ -137 (bet365)
