On the face of it this should be an away win & no need to read the article, but William Hill's Lee Phelps has looked at the recent form & the odds & has a differenrt view for his free betting pick.

Two sides going in very different directions meet in the MLS this weekend, with Sporting KC heading to Real Salt Lake, it looks like an easy one with Kansas available just under 3.0 (2/1).

Real Salt Lake
As usual nothing in betting is that simple and Real’s last game was a cup win over the top team in the West division Seattle Sounders, knocking them out 2-1. It was only their fifth victory of the entire season and I’m not sure it is anything to judge their form by.

In the league it’s one win in five and only two wins in 11 and that great home form of 2014 isn’t there this time, with too many draws and not enough goals. They have scored three in their last five in front of their own fans.

Sporting Kansas City
Kansas have moved into third spot after a good run of home games and great form in them. Four of their last six have been at home and they have won all of them, scoring 10 and conceding just two. They also won their US Open Cup match at home, but obviously this game is on the road.

They have drawn their last three straight away from Kansas and only have lost one of their last five trips. The last point earned was in Seattle in a goalless draw so they can go to the best and bring home a point.

Soccer Picks
I like the draw here at 3.1 (21/10) but I also like the under 2.5. All five of Real’s last five home games have seen fewer than three goals and I can see it being a tight game.

The under 2.5 is too short for me to play as a single soccer pick, so I’m going to combine the two, giving me a 0-0 and a 1-1 score line on my side.

Free Soccer Pick: Draw & Under 2.5 goals 3.75 (11/4)
