The Copa America throws up the Mexico B team and Bolivia's A team who are actually playing like a C team recently. William Hill's Lee Phelps is looking at the best odds for his free betting pick.

A stoppage time penalty from Klaas Jan Huntelaar broke Mexican hearts at the World Cup as they dropped out of the competition at their usual stage, having finished on the same points as Brazil following a nil nil draw with the hosts. They open here with a game against Bolivia, but with a very junior and very senior mix in the squad.

COPA America betting odds are favoring Mexico are competing in both the Copa America and CONCACAF Gold Cup over the next two months so coach Miguel Herrera has been forced to name two separate squads for the tournaments.

Herrera announced his Gold Cup squad on Wednesday, including the likes of Real Madrid's Javier Hernandez, Giovani dos Santos of Villarreal and Porto's Hector Herrera. No prizes for guessing what Mexico’s first priority is.

Mexico lost 2-0 to Brazil on Sunday, to finish with one win, one draw and a loss from their three pre-Copa America friendlies.

The last time Bolivia has a good Copa America was 18 years ago when they hosted it and made it to the semi-final. Don’t expect that to happen again here.

They are on a shocking run, with only one win in 16 games and nine defeats in that run too. However they have beaten Venezuela and drawn with Chile in their last three (the other result was a 5-0 defeat to Argentina.

The stark reality for the loser of this game is that they are probably already out, with Chile and Ecuador in better form and with better squads.

Soccer picks
I don’t see Mexico losing to Bolivia, I actually think their inexperienced squad will rise to the occasion here in an entertaining match. Bolivia’s recent games have featured plenty of goals so whatever happens I see three or more being scored at 1.91, but I’ll go for a soccer pick with bigger odds.
