The World Cup concludes Sunday in Moscow with an unlikely final between France and Croatia. Intertops has updated player awards odds.

If you had France and Croatia each reaching the World Cup final on your Intertops futures ticket back on June 15 when the tournament started in Russia, you added a nice chunk of change to your bankroll. France getting there was no surprise as the 1998 World Cup champs were one of the pre-tournament favorites. But Croatia? It is the second-smallest country ever in terms of population to reach the final, behind only Uruguay.

We don’t want to forget Saturday’s third-place game between England and Belgium, although why the World Cup feels the need to play for the bronze is a bit silly. This isn’t the Olympics where the third-place finisher takes home a medal. Still, it could have some relevance on a few Intertops props.

The current Intertops favorite to win the Golden Ball as the best overall player at the World Cup is French 19-year-old sensation Kylian Mbappe at -125. That young man is going to be very, very rich soon and reportedly Real Madrid is hot after him after losing Cristiano Ronaldo to Italian side Juventus. Mbappe, the first player called up by France to be born after its 1998 World Cup win, has three goals (on six attempts), two with his right foot and one with the left. Goals don’t tell the whole story as Mbappe has been magical passing the ball with 110 passes completed.

One French player has won the Golden Ball Award, yet it didn’t come when Les Bleus won the World Cup on home soil in 1998. Ronaldo won it then. No, it was Zinedine Zidane (who recently shocked the world by stepping down as coach at Real Madrid) in 2006 when France lost the final to Italy.

Croatia and Real Madrid star Luke Modric is the +200 second-favorite for the Golden Ball. He has two goals (on 10 attempts) and an assist and has completed a whopping 368 passes. Then there’s a big drop-off to France’s Antoine Griezmann at +1000 on the Intertops odds.

The Golden Glove goes to the top goalkeeper in the tournament, and the Intertops favorite is France’s Huge Lloris at -182. He shut out Belgium in the semifinals and Uruguay in the quarters. Lloris has made 11 saves in the tournament for a save rate of 73.3 percent. A total of 53 percent of his goal kicks have reached a teammate. Fabien Barthez won the Golden Glove (then called Yashin Award) in 1998 for France.

Croatia’s Danijel Subasic is +185 on this Intertops prop. The 33-year-old goalkeeper has managed to stop four penalties throughout the tournament. Overall, he has made 12 saves for a percentage of 75. Only after the retirement of Stipe Pletikosa, who played at the 2002, 2006 and 2014 World Cups, did Subasic finally get his chance to start in the World Cup. He should steal this award if Croatia wins Sunday.

Finally, for top goalscorer England’s Harry Kane is the heavy -2500 favorite at Intertops. He leads the tournament with six and the only person who can reasonably catch him is Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku (+1600), who has four. If France’s Griezmann (+4000) has an unlikely hat trick in the final, he could potentially tie.
