Manchester United Pulls Out Of Paulo Dybala Deal

Manchester United reportedly walked away from a move for Paulo Dybala over doubts about his desire to join them. Also, Dybala’s wage demands and exorbitant agent fees were too high for them. This effectively ends Romelu Lukaku’s hopes of moving to Juventus.

Man U is already looking at other No. 10 options, particularly Bruno Fernandes. The Red Devils must go all out for Fernandes now because it will be a disaster if they miss out on him as well and he joins Tottenham.

Last Tuesday Sky Sport Italy reported that Manchester United and Juventus agreed in principle on a swap deal involving Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku. Dybala had to approve the deal but he didn’t want to leave Juventus.

The 25-year-old joined Juventus from Palermo in 2015 for an initial €32m and was part of Argentina’s squad at last year’s World Cup and this year’s Copa América.

The Argentine is comfortable at different attacking roles and he scored the only goal in Juventus’ 1-0 UEFA Champions League group victory at Old Trafford on October 23. He scored five goals with five assists in 30 Serie A games last season and five goals on nine UEFA Champions League games.
