Recent History & Trends
What a game to start this weekend's Premier League action with on Saturday lunch-time with the top of the table clash between Manchester City and Leicester at the Ethiad. The top two go into this clash in some scintillating form and it promises to be a classic and a lot, lot closer than the sportsbooks are predicting. The bookies have totally disregarded Claudio Ranieri's sides fine start to the season and they are paying them no respect at all with their soccer odds on offer for this one.

When the top two in the country usually go toe-to-toe at this crucial stage of the season, bookmakers are usually finding it difficult to have a clear favorite, but they've had no problem in this one making City as short as just 1.55 with Coral.

It's staggering to think that Leicester top the table and have only lost just one match in their last 18 away games, and yet, they've been totally dismissed with a massive quote of 6.00 with all the layers for this the most important Premier League match of the season. However big that looks, which it is massive, I still just can't bring myself to back them, but with three draws in their last four away matches, I will be taking a bit of the 4.33 on another stalemate which is available with Bet365.

Betting Analysis & Game Overview
A draw is a fantastic result for the visitors, and in recent weeks, they've been a lot more cagey on their travels and that looks to be the game-plan again at the weekend. Both sides arrive in this one in great form with City unbeaten in their last seven matches and the Foxes losing just once in their last eight, and despite what the bookies believe, this is going to be a very close game.

The two also played out a goalless draw at the King Power at the end of last year and this is another tough to call on the goals markets. Over 2.5 goals has been a winning bet now in 16 of City's 18 home matches this season, but in recent matches for Leicester, the goals have dried up with seven of their last nine seeing under 2.5 goals.

I usually have a strong opinion on those markets, and I do again with the attacking flair on dispay, for both sides it's very hard not to see goals and I really like over 2.5 goals in the match at the 1.70 with BetVictor. Correct-score punters should also be looking for goals. I'm going to have a very small soccer pick on the match to end in a 2-2 draw which is 18.0 with BetVictor again.

This is a huge match for the visitors, probably more so than for City, and if they manage to get something and from their next match at Arsenal, the next three fixtures are against Norwich, West Brom and Watford and the dream of a Premier League title is very much on. Jamie Vardy bounced back to scoring ways in midweek with a brace in the 2-0 home win over Liverpool and away from home, his pace on the counter-attack is a going to be a problem against the leaky City defense, and I like the England man to find the net again in this one at the 3.25 with Betfred.
