The Premier League calendar is full this weekend, and although several games are intriguing, let's narrow our focus and find the two best plays for your soccer picks.

I’m straight on the visitors for the Merseyside derby Saturday at 7:30 a.m. ET. Everton has been very disappointing this season and although I didn’t expect this kind of slump after last season’s good results, I’m not surprised it has continued after the season has kicked into gear. Sam Allardyce has done his job and got them enough points to stay in the Premier League for another season, but he’ll be gone in the summer and replaced by someone a bit more fashionable and a bit more willing to play attacking football. Marco Silva would be my bet after they missed out on him when Ronald Koeman left.

Liverpool is clearly the better side here and I’m sure the odds are as favorable only because of their midweek game against Manchester City. It’s hard to bet against the team in form, though, and with my soccer picks I’m not going to start with this one.

At -139 with Pinnacle the odds aren’t huge on the soccer odds board, but there is good upside to this one and a result here will certainly add to the pressure that Manchester United will be under to retain second place.

West Brom vs. Swansea

West Brom has now had the same number of managers this season as wins in the Premier League. Darren Moore has stepped up to take them through, probably to the end of the season. With dismal form and worse finances, things are not looking good for the Baggies.

Swansea, on the other hand, has put together some good performances and isn't too far away from securing another season in the Premier League, which must have been the team's No. 1 goal last August. Carlos Carvalhal has done a great job lifting the spirits at Liberty Stadium, and an upturn in form has been very welcomed.

With my soccer picks I’m backing Swansea to get themselves a little more daylight between them and the drop zone by picking up another win Saturday. Pinnacle is in line with a couple of other sportsbooks by offering +227 on the soccer odds board. There is definitely value there and this is my favorite bet of the week.
