While Redblacks quarterback Jeremiah Masoli has thrown for only seven yards less than Rourke, he’s thrown just one touchdown and has an interception.

It’s the Lions’ first game on the road, but I don’t see them losing.

The only way the Lions lose this game and don’t cover is if they’re looking ahead to next week’s matchup against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Not only has Rourke led the league in passing yards per game and passing touchdowns per game, but running back James Butler leads the league in rushing yards per game. He has 147 through two games, as well as two touchdowns.

Rourke also has two rushing touchdowns and 93 yards rushing. Sure, the Redblacks have the third-best passing defense and fourth-best rushing defense, but the Lions have the best passing defense and second-best rushing defense. This Lions team will be too much for the Redblacks to handle.

The Redblacks have been good on defense and the Lions have been even better, but BC is averaging 51 points per game on its own. I don’t see the Lions struggling to move the ball against the Redblacks.

While I expect them to limit the Redblacks to a low point total, I think they put up enough points to push this Over. This team has moved the ball so efficiently that every Over should be in play until someone can slow down the Lions.
