PSG and Barcelona collide in UCL tie with the Spanish giants in firm control. Can PSG spring a surprise at the Camp Nou? Find out as we preview this must-see clash & serve up our soccer picks.

PSG Look To Turnaround Tie
PSG head to the Camp Nou faced with a nigh impossible task of reversing a 3-1 deficit to Barcelona in their Champions League quarterfinal tie. In layman terms, they need to score at least three goals to stand a chance and erase the hefty away advantage the Spanish giants acquired on their visit to Paris last Wednesday.

As it is, the Soccer betting odds are stacked heavily against PSG. They enter this clash as the decided underdogs at +600 to pull off the unlikely win and they are the absurd +2500 underdogs to advance into the semis.

The return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic from suspension is a boost for PSG as is the return of Marco Verratti, but that hasn't changed the outlook. As good as the Swedish national is, the task appears impossible even for him. It doesn't help matters that David Luiz is an injury doubt and that Thiago Silva and Thiago Motta are most likely out too.

Barcelona Clear Favourites
The Spanish giants decimated PSG in Paris last Wednesday. The upshot of which they are clear-cut favourites to win at the Camp Nou and advance into the semis. As it is, they are trading at -225 Champions League odds to win outright and at ridiculous -10000 soccer odds to advance.

That the Champions League betting market is cornered in their camp wholeheartedly comes as no surprise. Not only because of the way they played last Wednesday, but also because they are more than capable of holding on to this advantage and, even, extending it further with a few more swift goals.

Soccer Betting Verdict:
Barcelona are in an enviable position going into the reverse leg of their quarterfinal tie with PSG: they don't need to win this game to advance. Three away goals is a big cushion to be sitting on. Technically, they could lose 0-2 but still advance into the next round.

Given this unique situation, backing a Barcelona win might seem a risky bet. Nevertheless, it's hard to imagine Barcelona losing a home game in Champions League. They might not need to win it, but they'll want to win it surely. As such, we recommend taking Barcelona at -250 to win outright on your soccer picks.
