With just one more round of games, certain things are yet to be decided.  3rd and 4th place in the league are up for grabs, so is on relegation place and of course, how much profit are we going to end the season with?

Going into the last weekend of the Premier League season there are very few questions still waiting for an answer. The last relegation spot is yet to be decided and there is also the question of Champions League and European spots. I’ve got three bets this week that I’m going to run by you and then that will be it for my 2017/18 Premier League betting, let’s finish on a high.

All games kick off at the same time so there is no time order to go through. I’m just going to list them as my spreadsheet has spat them out.

My first bet is in the Swansea v Stoke City game. Swansea are still right in the mire and currently look the favourites to go down. Considering Stokes recent form you have to think they have a chance of getting the points they need here. They will still be left hoping that Southampton lost against Manchester City which would be unlikely.

Unfortunately for Swansea fans, I can see them dropping points here. The pressure is off Stoke now, they are down and they have no chance of survival. Once the axe comes down teams can often play with more freedom. I’m going for a straight Stoke win at +450 with BetVictor. Considering Stokes record against Swansea, I feel there is value here and the tension just might get to the Swans in what may be their last Premier League game for a while.

Game no.2 is Burnley v Bournemouth. Both sides are safe now and that’s all Bournemouth fans would have been asking for when they went through a very rough patch earlier in the season. I thoroughly enjoy watching Bournemouth try to play football “the right way” but sometimes you’re going to get stung trying to do that. Burnley have been another surprising side and despite their recent drop in standards, I still think they are a very good side to watch and fairly reliable at home. Most of all they’re hard working and no push overs. This one should be a home win and at +114 (BetVictor again) there is enough value in this one to catch my attention.

My last bet is in the Crystal Palace v West Bromwich Albion game. I won’t say that Albion’s recent form has been “too little, too late” because Darren Moore has done a great job since taking over and inspired his side to some excellent results, calling that “too little” would be insulting and if he had been given two more weeks, he may just have got West Brom out of this mess.

In this game I’m expecting a draw. Crystal Palace are on a high because they have retained their place in the Premier League for next season despite a disastrous start but Darren Moore will be demanding another performance from his players and should get enough from them for a point in this one. JustBet have a clean sweep this week and once again have the best odds with +275 for the draw.

I’m sad to see the back of this football season. It’s been highly entertaining and quite profitable along the way. It won’t be long though until the start of the World Cup and then, soon after, preparations for 2018/19.

See you then.
