El Clásico might well have lived up to its name on Sunday, but Barcelona V Real Madrid isn’t the only game in town and you can win big if you listen to your Humble Handicapper’s top soccer tips when Atletico Madrid take on Granada.

Atlético played Betis on Sunday, and came out 2-0 winners against the team rooted to the bottom of the league. Diego Simeone's side were three points adrift of leaders Real and one clear of champions Barca in Spain’s three-way title duel, now they are tied with Real and just one behind Barca. They played in Seville four hours before the second El Clásico of the season in the Spanish capital and must be happy with the way things played out. Still, it’s unlikely that Atletico will claim their first Liga crown since 1996. Betis are now 33/1 to be relegated from Spain’s top flight this season.

Enough with the league…WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?
Before all Sunday’s games Atlético Madrid were as high as 10/1 with the sportsbooks to win La Liga, now their soccer odds are more like 6/1. Before Sunday’s match Madrid were on a three game winning run, and afterwards they’re on a four game winning run. Granada are undefeated in their last three, but it’s two wins and a draw. And before that they had to put up with back to back defeats.

Looking at the last five meetings between these two sides it’s all one way traffic, Atlético Madrid have won the last four and the game before that was a scoreless draw.

What are the basics?
The basics have Atlético winning at 2/9, the draw at 5/1 and a Granada win at 18/1. What’s more the aforementioned 0-0 is offered up at best soccer odds of 17/1, which tells you how likely it is.

Atlético won their last two meetings against Granada, by winning both halves. This time round the bookies have Atlético winning both halves at 4/7. When you consider that Granada winning both halves is at 33/1 you can see clearly who is going to come out on top.

Looking at the Spanish table
Granada are 11th in the league after 29 games, they have just 10 wins 4 draws and 15 defeats. That implies that they tend NOT to draw, and as Atlético Madrid have just four draws of their own all season, you’d be daft to back a draw with your soccer picks here. but if you must, go for a 1-1 at best soccer odds of 13/1.

If we can all agree that Atlético will come out on top in this game (and win both halves), the only question is at what score.

Granada have only found the back of the net once in their last five meetings with Atlético de Madrid, and that was in their last meeting (a 2-1 defeat). So it’s worth a shout backing Madrid to win “to nil” at 4/5. In fact Madrid have outscored Granada 10 goals to one in their last five meetings, so that would average out to either 2.5 to 0.25, or 2 to 0.2. Either why that works out to 2-0 to Madrid, that’s available at 5/1.

Looking at their last five games Madrid have scored 11 times.  Granada’s last two wins were both at home and if you look at their away form, it’s a lot poorer. They’ve conceded 9 goals in their last three.

Free Prediction: Atlético Madrid win 3-0, available at 13/2 with BetVictor.
