There’s money to be won over in Spain, when Barcelona take on Osasuna this Sunday, and you can fill your pockets if you listen to your Humble Handicapper and his top soccer tips & picks.

We all know that the Spanish league is a three-horse race with 11 games left, Real Madrid top the table by three points from city rivals Atletico, and Barcelona are four points off the leaders. Here’s a good time to let you know that Real Madrid are 4/11 to win the league, Barca are 54/13 and Atlético Madrid are 9/1. That means Barca have plenty to play for after a shock defeat at Real Valladolid. Most soccer cappers would have thought you'd have been crazy to back any team other than Barcelona when they took on Valladolid last weekend but your Humble Handicapper always says that sometimes you have to expect the unexpected.

It was quite amazing that Barcelona ended last weekend without any additional points, but Barcelona had nobody to blame but themselves as they looked as sluggish as the Welsh rugby team and failed to take advantage of any of their chances. It was clearly a game to forget is the reigning champions were bested by relegation fodder.

Enough with last weekend money games…WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?

Barca bounced back well when they hosted Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday and went through 2-1 on the night and 4-1 on aggregate. You should also know that they are now 4/1 (second favourites behind Bayern Munich) to win the Champions League.

Enough with the Champions League…WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?

Your Humble Handicapper  isn't expecting lightning to strike twice, Barcelona have only dropped two games out of the last six and won't be likely to drop any more points against Osasuna as they hope to make up ground on Real Madrid. Osasuna have only two wins in their last five games, plus one defeat and a pair of draws. The basics have Barcelona winning are 1/14 Osasuna winning is at best soccer odds of 45/1, and the game ending level is at 14/1.

The most obvious stat in this game is when you look at the last five head-to-head meetings between these two sides Barcelona have come out on top four times out of the last five meetings and they have outscored Osasuna 12 goals to 4 in that run.

History and goals

Those of you with a short memory will point out that last time the two sides met the game ended 0-0. But I can't see that history repeating itself. If you want to go crazy can always go for the game ending 0-0, which is available at best soccer odds of 50/1 (behind a 7-0 Barca victory) and if the game is going to be goalless, you should also like to know that the game ending under 2.5 goals is available for your betting pleasure at 3/1 and the game being drawn in the 45 and the 90 which it would have to be to end 0-0 is available at 22/1.

I think it’s more important to consider the fact the last time these two sides faced off back in January 2013, the home side were 5-1 winners. A repeat of that score is available at 20/1 but what is more interesting is in the three previous games that these two sides met Barcelona came out on top but only by a single goal, 2-1 twice and 3-2 once in recent history. If you're set on Barcelona winning by a single goal margin you can pick the best soccer odds of 9/2 on that. However your Humble Handicapper thinks we will see more goals in this and a more comprehensive Barcelona victory.

Prediction: Barcelona win 3-1 available at best soccer odds of 13/1 with BetVictor.
