Odds makers install Barcelona as the decisive favorites to repeat as La Liga Champions in 2015-2016. Join us as we preview the La Liga Odds futures, in search of the best priced soccer picks.

La Liga Outright Winner Betting Odds
It's unanimous across sports betting platforms: Barcelona are the team to beat in Spanish top-flight when the 2015-2016 season gets underway. Not only did Barcelona win the domestic title, but they also clinched Copa del Rey and the Champions League title. The impressive Treble that is the envy of all clubs, managers and players in the game.

While Barcelona are the bookmakers' favourite, the La Liga betting is conspicuously a two-horse race with Real Madrid a close second favourite for the title. Spain's top-flight has been dominated by this pair since forever it would seem. If one wins the title, the other invariably takes the runner-up spot. Last season, Barcelona beat Real Madrid to the prize by just two points.

Since 2003-2004, when Valencia emerged the improbable winners, Barcelona have picked up seven La Liga titles while Real Madrid finished runner-up in all those season. On the flipside, Real Madrid have picked up three titles, with Barcelona twice finishing runner-up in those seasons. Only Atletico Madrid broke up the duopoly over the last eleven seasons with their improbable La Liga title win in 2013-2014 (that season, Barcelona finished runner-up).

Clearly, when it comes to betting on La Liga the best bet is going to be one of the pair of Spanish heavyweights. (See Table 1) The only conceivable outside soccer pick has to be Atletico Madrid. Diego Simeone's lads have been shaking things up in Spanish top-flight. So let's look at some of the best soccer odds currently trading on La Liga's Top Five Faves across several leading UK Sportsbooks in search of the best soccer picks.

Table 1: La Liga Outright Winner Betting Odds

Barcelona -138 To Win Title at Bet365
One of the shortest prices on Barcelona to win the title is found at Bet365, where they are trading at -138 in outright winner markets. Consider Barcelona's stranglehold on La Liga and the season they're coming off, a £138 bet to win £100 is good bang for your buck.

Real Madrid +163 To Win Title at Bet365
Similarly, Be365 is offering one of the best odds in outright winners market on Real Madrid to lift the title. The last time Los Blancos won the title was the 2011-2012 season. Last year, they finished runner-up to Barcelona by just two points. If there's a team that can give Barcelona a run for its money, it's going to be Real. At +163 to win the title, they could prove the savvy soccer pick at Bet365.

Atletico Madrid +2000 to Win Title at William Hill
Two seasons ago, Atletico Madrid stunned La Liga betting markets when they pulled off the improbable domestic title win. Few soccer bettors believed they'd actually hold their nerve down the stretch, let alone odds makers who persistently served them up as the long shot pick to clinch the title, despite leading the table.  Diego Simeone's lads are not a side to take lightly in La Liga and the best soccer odds we've found are at William Hill, where they are trading at whopping +2000 soccer odds. A £100 bet yields a cool £2000, while a £10 bet yields a nice £200 payout.

Sevilla +6600 To Win Title at William Hill
Both Bet365 and William Hill are trading Sevilla as the fourth overall favourites, but Paddy Power have them trading as the fifth overall faves. An interesting discrepancy over the Europa League champions from book to book. In any event, Sevilla winning the La Liga title is a long shot soccer pick, whichever way you slice it. If you're a brave soccer bettor looking for the mother of all upset soccer picks, taking Sevilla at +6600 to pull off the improbable feat at William Hill is your best one-stop shop.

Valencia +6600 To Win Title at William Hill
Curiously, Paddy Power is trading Valencia at +3300 to win the title, which is half the price that is available at William Hill and a smidgen shorter than the price trading at Bet365. Obviously, William Hill's odds offer the best rate of return on your investment. Question is how likely is such a soccer pick to come through, especially at the expense of Barcelona, Real Madrid and, to a lesser extent, Atletico Madrid.

So there you have it, the top five contenders currently trading in the sports betting market: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Valencia. While there's some small discrepancy in the pecking order, the top five culprits are the same from sportsbook to sportsbook. Most likely, the La Liga champion is contained within the powerhouse tandem of Barcelona and Real Madrid, but there are those soccer bettors that quite fancy Atletico Madrid to raise the stakes this season.  Whichever club is your choice soccer pick, be sure to use one of these sportsbooks or any other that is indexed on the green list with SBR.
