Another round of Champions League betting is upon us this week. We look at the top-flight clash between Juventus and Borussia Dortmund, complete with soccer odds and picks.

Juventus Flying High in Serie A
Serie A frontrunners Juventus are on pace towards winning a fourth straight Serie A title. Navigating a course through 24 rounds of Italy's top-flight, i bianconeri boast a 17-6-1 record and 57 points. The nearest threat is Roma, nine-points adrift in second place. Third-placed Napoli are floating in no man's land, 15-points away. It would take a spectacular drop in form by Juventus to lose the Scudetto race right now.

The strength of Juventus is home form and remarkable defending. At Juventus Stadium, i bianconeri are undefeated through 12 rounds in Serie A behind a 10-2-0 mark, highlighted by a whopping 32 goals scored and just seven goals allowed (less than a goal per game).  On the road, they're solid as well with just one defeat in 12 games (7-4-1).

Most recently, Juventus are coming off a 2-1 win over Atalanta, marking their fourth straight home win since a 1-1 draw to Internazionale. That run of form bodes well for their date with Borussia Dortmund, give them confidence to come through for their backers as the favorites, albeit on the slightly long side of even money at +105 soccer odds.

Juventus finished their European campaign in second place, behind Atletico Madrid in Group A betting after accounting for a 3-1-2 mark and 10 points. At home, they went 2-1-0; only dropping points to Atletico. On the road, they struggled with a 1-0-2 mark, losing to Olympiacos and Malmo, the latter of which was a rather shocking defeat that sent seismic shockwaves through soccer betting circles.

Borussia Dortmund Struggling Mightily
Bundesliga action has offered Borussia Dortmund little joy this season, flirting with relegation as they shockingly are right now. Currently, sat 12th in the table behind a debilitating 7-4-11 mark and 25 points, they are a mere three points clear of the drop zone. To say these are trying times for Jurgen Klopp and his lads is an understatement.

On the bright side, there's been a perceptible lift in form of late. Borussia Dortmund are enjoying their first positive run of form in what seems like ages, winning three on the trot. They beat Freiburg 3-0 on the road, Mainz 05 4-2 at home and Stuttgart 3-2 on the road. There's an argument to be had about the quality of opposition  – none of the aforementioned triplet comes close to the quality and depth of Juventus. Still, one cannot underestimate the impact winning can have on a team so desperately in need of a confidence boost.

By contrast, Borussia's European form is above reproach. They won a tough Group D behind a 4-1-1 mark and 13 points, usurping Arsenal, RSC Anderlecht and Galatasaray in the race for top spot. Indeed, Borussia reeled off four straight wins to get their campaign going, three of which were clean sheets (2-0 over Arsenal, 3-0 over Anderlecht and 4-0 over Galatasaray). Although they dropped points in their last two games, behind a 2-0 loss to Arsenal (away) and a 1-1 draw to Anderlecht at home, they still managed to clinch top spot over Arsenal with a better goal differential. By the numbers, Borussia scored 14 goals and conceded just 4 goals.

In spite of their convincing form overall in European competition, odds makers aren't buying what Borussia Dortmund are selling, installing them as the + 310 road underdogs. Should bettors fade or shade Borussia on their soccer picks?

Juventus vs. Borussia Dortmund Match Betting Tips and Picks:
Borussia Dortmund have been a head-scratching side this season, so conflicting is their form from competition to competition. That said they do have a mini-run of form going and they'll be looking to make it four wins in a row when they take on Juventus in Turin on Tuesday night. Much of their improved form is down to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's scoring streak of four goals in their last three games. Not to mention, Marco Reus' contract extension – Klopp has to be tired of the talent from Borussia, talent that he's harnessed and developed, traipsing off to the greener pastures of Bayern.

Juventus are without doubt a solid team with convincing form at home that goes a long way towards underscoring their +105 soccer odds to win outright, but when so much in these knockout stages boils down to matchups rather than any kind of form, we're not ready to write off the Germans. Borussia Dortmund are a much better side than their current form reflects, which leads us to believe they're being extremely underrated in this game at +310 soccer odds. It's just a soccer pick too good not to tickle.
