The Impact takes the latest installment of the Canadian Classique and beat the reeling Toronto FC.

This could be a crucial turning point for each team as they try to climb out of their recent slumps and maintain their spots in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Toronto has been mired in a downward spiral since the calendar turned to May, going 1-6-4 since May 4. With the Revolution earning a draw at DC United Friday night, Toronto is now on the outside looking in on the Eastern Conference playoff race as the Rev's now lead them by a point.

Meanwhile, the Impact has dropped their last two matches and though they are tied in points (30) with Atlanta United FC, they sit in fourth place in the East with Atlanta in third.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

T'as encore la chance de mettre la 🤚 sur l'un des rares 🎟️ encore disponibles pour le match de ce soir!

🎟️ >> https://t.co/JrnlYKHPDL

You still have a chance to get your 🤚 on one of the few remaining 🎟️ for tonight's game against @torontofc!#IMFC #MTLvTOR #AllezMTL pic.twitter.com/4VJXbP4kry
— Impact de Montréal (@impactmontreal) July 13, 2019
\n\n"}[/]

Saturday's tilt with their rivals though will serve as a great chance for the Impact to leapfrog Atlanta at least for one night (Atlanta hosts the Houston Dynamo Sunday) and get their season back on track. The Impact has been solid on their home pitch, going 5-3-1 at Stade Saputo this season and that could bode well against a Toronto team that has gone 2-4-4 on the road.

The read here is that Montreal will win outright and is definitely a value pick at +156.
