Hull City needs a win this week in order to avoid relegation from the Premier League. They'll be taking on Manchester United as the soccer odds-on underdogs on Sunday.

Odds Overview
It all comes down to the final day. Would you rather have it any other way?

Hull City is going to be going all out here on Sunday, but that doesn't mean they're getting a lot of love from soccer odds makers. Right now the top sportsbooks show the Tigers at roughly +220 to secure three points, with a Manchester United victory priced at +125 and a draw in a wide range from +225 to +275.

Hull City
The Tigers are currently third-from-bottom in the Premier League, so if the season ended today they'd be relegated to the Championship. Fortunately for them, they've got one last chance to earn their keep, though they'll also need to get a little help elsewhere to stay up in the top flight for 2015/16.

What does the situation look like heading into Sunday? Hull is two points back of Newcastle, so they need a victory and also need Newcastle NOT to win either. The Tigers have the superior goal differential, so if they pick up the three points and the Magpies have to settle for a draw, Hull will stay up.

A lack of firepower up front has been Hull's downfall this season, as only one member of the club has scored more than five league goals this season, that being Nikica Jelavic. You can't expect to score 33 goals in 37 matches and survive.

<var>Shop for the Best Numbers on the Board with Our Premier League Live Odds</var>

Manchester United
The Red Devils are locked in to the fourth spot in the Premier League. The good news? They'll be back in the Champions League running next season. The bad? They'll have to make their way through a qualifying round first and foremost, so it's not a foregone conclusion that they'll be taking part in Europe's most prestigious competition.

Not too long ago it looked as if United was going to be a lock to finish in the top three, but they've closed out the season by picking up one win, one draw and three defeats over their last five matches. Sure, it hasn't been an easy road whatsoever, with some very challenging fixtures mixed in there, but they were still expected to do far better in the final weeks than they've done.

Nonetheless, the Red Devils will enter Sunday as the heavy soccer betting favorites at Hull, though it's safe to say the home team will be far more motivated on this occasion. United may have to sit back and soak up some pressure here and there, but it'd still be surprising if they're not able to find a way to get at least a point out of the trip.

Premier League Pick
As great of a story as it would be, and as much as we hope it does happen, we're finding it hard to believe Hull City will be able to earn all three points against the more talented Red Devils.

Yes, Manchester United doesn't have a ton to play for at this point, but they're still incredibly strong and they're going to trot out a formidable starting XI regardless. More importantly, however, Hull City hasn't been in good form at all lately -- which is why they find themselves in this position in the first place -- so they haven't warranted much love from the betting public.

Put it all together and we think the most logical outcome is a draw, with Hull City fighting tooth and nail but ultimately falling just short. They just don't have the necessary quality to hang with the big boys over the course of a full season. With our soccer picks, we're backing a draw at close to +250.

Soccer Pick: Hull City 1 Manchester United 1 at Bet365.

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":299915, "sportsbooksIds":[43], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
