A rare Tuesday match sees Liverpool travel to take on Hull City, with three crucial Premier League points on the line. Who should we be considering with our soccer picks?

Odds Overview
Though they're not going to be playing on Merseyside in front of the Anfield faithful, the Reds are still being classified as the favorites on the soccer betting odds board.

Looking over the top sportsbooks, we see Liverpool listed at -100 to win on EPL odds board. Hull City is quoted at +300 or so and a draw can be found in the +225 to +250 range.

Hull City
After failing to win in six consecutive matches, Hull City finally ended the drought with a 2-0 away win over Crystal Palace, one of the team's best league victories of the entire season.

Beating the Eagles on their home turf is a massive accomplishment in its own right, but to do it at this point in the season with so much on the line makes it all the more impressive. Hull City is trying to stay afloat and do enough to ensure their safety in the Premier League, so those three points could end up being hugely important to the cause. As it stands, the Tigers are in 16th place in the table, yet they're just one point ahead of the "bottom three" relegation zone.

What that means is we're going to see a riled up Hull City side every time they take the pitch. The Tigers are playing for their top flight lives, so we know we're going to see them going all out. Motivation is not going to be an issue whatsoever. Dame N'Doye just provided both goals for the club in the win over Palace (he now has five on the season) and will now try to get the best of a Liverpool defense that's proven to be vulnerable.

It has been a rollercoaster of a season for the Reds, who have gone through some outstanding spells but then have also endured some very rough patches of play. They're in one of those poor runs of form now, as they're coming off a 2-1 loss to Aston Villa, followed by a forgettable 0-0 draw to West Brom. Both matches were away from home.

Both opponents can be found in the bottom half of the table, so many expected Liverpool to get more than one total point out of the two league fixtures. Instead, the Reds have fallen further behind in the Premier League table, though they will look to take advantage of Manchester United's setback to Everton over the weekend. Right now Liverpool is seven points behind fourth place with this match in hand, so getting all three points would really put the pressure on.

Unfortunately for the club, the oft-injured Daniel Sturridge looks like he's set to miss the rest of the campaign, meaning the likes of Coutinho and Raheem Sterling are going to have even more responsbility to create going forward. Likewise for Mario Balotelli, who was handed the start up front in the team's latest match.

Premier League Pick
With the way Liverpool's been playing, it's tough to recommend backing them. Yes, the Reds are favored and have more talent, but they haven't maximized that talent and they'll be taking on a gritty Hull City side that's still dealing with surviving relegation.

Desperation is a funny thing, and playing at home is another worthwhile consideration. When putting it all together, we believe the Tigers will do enough to get at least a point out of this fixture.

With your soccer picks, consider a small wager on the draw in what we expect to be a very competitive match. There doesn't seem to be much of an edge on either team here, so we'll play it safe and be on the lookout for a deadlock at the end of the day.
