Matchday 3 of the Premier League kicks off this weekend. We bring our weekly game-by-game previews here, along with choice soccer picks.

Match Day 3 Preview
Two laps around the league and promoted Hull City hobnob with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea at the top of the table. The Tigers, another rags to riches story in the making? Something to keep an eye on certainly, particularly as they take on Man United on match day 3 [insert dramatic shiver]. Could they possibly remain undefeated in the new season or, for that matter, serve up the outright upset? [Insert another dramatic shiver].

How about defending champions Leicester City, will they finally get a ‘W’ on the board? Arsenal is conspicuous without one too after opening with a stunning loss to Liverpool at the Emirates and then settling on a scoreless away draw to the Foxes.

Tottenham vs. Liverpool
Although the Spurs got off to a slow start they remain undefeated after two laps. Opening the new campaign with a 1-1 draw to Everton they went on to beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at White Hart Lane. Lying in wait on match day 3 is Liverpool, their first real test of the season. Granted Jurgen Klopp’s side laid an egg last weekend, losing to Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor. A rather surprising result after the thrilling 4-3 win at the Emirates in the first week of the season.

Last season, the pair settled on draws in both fixtures – a scoreless draw in North London, which marked Klopp’s first game in charge, and a 1-1 draw on Merseyside, which thrust Spurs hopeless title bid into a tailspin. It’s highly probable that this meeting will result in another draw between the pair, which can be backed at +252 with Pinnacle. There’s a feeling though that Klopp will be adamant his side bounce back from last week’s poor performance, which could mean hedging bets with a double chance play – a Liverpool win or draw is the better way to go.

Free Soccer Picks: Draw +252 or Liverpool win or draw at -167 (Double Chance Bet)
Best Line Offered: at Bet365

Chelsea vs. Burnley
Last week’s win over Liverpool was a good result for Burnley, but the chance they would repeat such a performance on match day 3 is slim to none. Especially not at the expense of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. It’s one thing to win at home. Another at one of the grandest football stadiums in England’s top flight. As such, we can’t see past a Chelsea win which is backed in all the way to whopping -345, a price available with Bookmaker and Bet Cris, amongst several other sportsbooks.

Free Soccer Picks: Chelsea -345
Best Line Offered: at BetCris

Crystal Palace vs. Bournemouth AFC
After two rounds, this pair prop up the Premier League table along with Sunderland as the only triplet to emerge pointless. Crystal Palace lost to both West Brom and Tottenham 1-0 while Bournemouth lost to Man United 3-1 and West Ham 1-0. To all intents and purposes, it’s been a tough schedule for Palace and even tougher schedule for the Cherries. Confidence must be low. Throw into that the desperation of both managers Alan Pardew and Eddie Howe, who are sure to look at this fixture as an opportunity to take desperately needed points. If there’s one thing that stands out, is the fact that Crystal Palace have yet to score in the new season while Bournemouth scored just the once. Under 2.5 is available at -110 with Heritage. For the ballsy bettor, maybe the Under 2.0 at +124 with Bookmaker is more tempting.

Free Soccer Picks: Under 2.5 -110
Best Line Offered: at Heritage

Everton vs. Stoke City
The Toffees are riding high in the Premier League table with four points in two laps. Opening with a 1-1 draw to the Spurs and extending their run of form with a 2-1 win over West Brom, Everton is sat fifth in the table. Stoke City look to be a decent side as well despite a draw and a loss, the latter of which was a 4-1 drumming by Pep Guardiola’s Man City at the Potteries last weekend. It’s early days and clubs are settling into the grind. Both have scored in each of their fixtures, making both teams to score our recommended betting pick here.

Free Soccer Picks: Yes, both teams to score at -110
Best Line Offered: at Bet365

Leicester City vs. Swansea City
Is this the fixture Leicester City finally win in the new season. The opening defeat to promoted Hull City caused quite the stir and uncharitable headlines across many media platforms. Credit to Ranieri’s side, they kept their peckers up and held Arsenal to a scoreless draw last weekend. It wasn’t the resounding gauntlet throwing performance of a champion, but it was a result nonetheless. Consider the Foxes lost both fixtures to the Gunners last season. Swansea City opened with a 1-0 win over Burnley but lost 2-0 to Hull City last weekend. This is a winnable

Free Soccer Picks: Leicester City win -133

Southampton vs. Sunderland
Both sides are off to a dubious start and boast just a point between them. Southampton were held to a 1-1 draw by Watford in week 1 and then were snuffed out by Manchester United 2-0 at the Old Trafford. Sunderland, meanwhile, lost to both Man City and Middlesbrough by the same score of 2-1. On the defensive side of the ball, there appear to be issues in each camp and that has us leaning towards both teams to score here.

Free Soccer Picks: Yes, both teams to score +110
Best Line Offered: at Bet365

Watford vs. Arsenal
Watford is off to a positive start holding Southampton to the draw on match day 1. They very nearly held Chelsea to a similar draw at Stamford Bridge only for Diego Costa to score the winner in the dying minutes of the game. They were unlucky not to share in the spoils. That said bookies don’t seem to hold out much for a home win – Watford are installed as the massive +455 underdogs at Pinnacle to win in 90 minutes. Is it really so dire though? Consider Arsenal is without a win. There seems to be a lot of negativity already in their camp and the season barely off the ground. Then there are the injury woes that are never ideal. Perhaps, backing a Watford win is too bold but a win or draw at home in double chance betting isn’t.

Free Soccer Picks: Watford to win +455 or Watford to win or draw +115
Best Line Offered: at Pinnacle

Hull City vs. Manchester United
Manchester United are expected to send Hull City plummeting back to earth on match day 3, if the soccer odds were any indication. Although the Red Devils are on the road they are odds-on to win at -200 with William Hill in 90 minutes. If the first two games are anything to go by that’s fair value.

Free Soccer Picks: Man United -200 to win
Best Line Offered: at WilliamHill

West Bromwich Albion vs. Middlesbrough
The clash between West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough is one that could see the two sides cancel each other out on a draw, which can be backed at +215 with Just Bet. West Bromwich are flush off a 2-1 defeat to Everton while Middlesbrough are coming off a 2-1 derby win over Sunderland. Both sides have scored in each and every fixture.

Free Soccer Picks: Draw +215
Best Line Offered: at JustBet

Man City vs. West Ham
By all accounts, this will be Pep Guardiola’s first test of the season. Not to mention, Slavan Bilic will relish the new challenge at the Etihad. By and large, the expectations is for a home win, which is trading as high as -415 at The Greek. No books it seems believes West Ham can mastermind the upset here otherwise bookies wouldn’t brazenly offer up ridiculous quadruple digits for a West Ham win. You can back West Ham to win at +1001 at 5Dimes. (Tempting isn’t it?) With the match betting market so overcooked, perhaps backing the Over 2.5 goals is the prudent option. Still, perhaps a small tickle on West Ham to win? Let’s face it, when the odds strike such an attractive pose on the board, it’s rude not to dabble.

Free Soccer Picks: Over 2.5 -211 & West Ham United win +1001
Best Line Offered: Over 2.5 -211 at Bet365 & West Ham United win +1001 at 5Dimes
