The potential field features Raging Bull with an HRN rating of 7.23.

Trained by Chad Brown, this four-year-old French-bred colt recently took second place in the Grade 1 Fourstardave Handicap at Saratoga on August 10, over a mile distance on turf. She is the sire of Get Stormy and Super Phoebe.

Trainer Michael Stidham is expected to run Synchrony in the Woodbine Mile coming off a solid victory in the Grade 2 King Edward Stakes on June 29 at this same track. The six-year-old veteran covered the mile run on turf in 1:32.95 past Curlin’s Honor and Say the Word.

His HRN rating coming into this race stands at 6.68 which is the second-highest in the projected field.

Churchill Downs 2019 Iroquois Stakes

Some high-profile trainers should be represented with an entry in this Grade 3 event. The 1 1/16-mile run on the dirt at Churchill has a probable field of seven juveniles with four colts holding an early HRN rating. The colt at the top of the list is trainer Steve Asmussen’s Rowdy Yates at 7.04.

Also on the list is Dennis’ Moment coming off a recent Maiden Special Weight victory at Ellis Park. He is trained by Dale Romans with an early 6.32 HRN rating.

Trainer Ken McPeek could have two entries in this race; January Won and Crypto Cash. Another interesting possibility is trainer Keith Desormeaux’s Juggernaut in his two-year-old debut.

Check Out More Racing Picks Here
