Spoilers are coming in this futures betting preview of the final series of "Game of Thrones," which looks at who will rule the Seven Kingdoms by the end of the show.

The market on who will be sitting on the Iron Throne by the end of the final TV episode of "Game of Thrones" has proved extremely popular with bettors. If you are one of the three people on the planet that is yet to watch every series of "GoT," look away now as spoilers are coming.

Bran Stark has emerged as the favorite to rule the Seven Kingdoms by the end of the final episode of the hit show. Ned Stark’s fourth child has been on quite the journey since being crippled by Jaime Lannister in the very first episode of the show. He is now able to receive prophetic visions, influence past events and enter the minds of other humans and animals. The sportsbooks believe he will be able to use his supernatural powers to vanquish all his enemies and sit on the Iron Throne by the time the outrageously popular series draws to a close.

However, competition is fierce and a bunch of scheming, lying, manipulative psychopaths sits below him in the betting. Bran is priced at +110 with William Hill, while Bet Stars will go out to +150, but some books are only offering -150. Next up you will find Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow, who are both +400 with William Hill. Once again Bet Stars has more market leading odds of +600 on Jon and +700 on Daenerys.

George R. R. Martin, who is writing the series that the show is based on, has teased a “bittersweet” ending to the epic tale. That suggests that one of the good guys will end up on top after much sacrifice and bloodshed. "Game of Thrones" is all about shades of grey, but essentially Bran, Jon and Daenerys are all closer to being heroes than villains, so any of them would fit the bill. Things got extremely incestuous between Jon and Daenerys toward the end of the penultimate series, and it is unlikely that both of them will survive the final series. Right now Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons is attracting the most bets at +700, followed by Jon at +600.

By the way, you will find SPOILERS below in case you are one of the three people on the planet that is yet to watch every series of "GoT."

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

I added a video to a @YouTube playlist https://t.co/4YgesOi0GF Bran Stark is the Night King Theory EXPLAINED | Game of Thrones Season
— SoulFox32 (@SoulFox32) December 9, 2018
\n\n"}[/]

Next up in the betting is The Night King (+1000 with William Hill) and that would amount to a far darker ending to the show. Then king of the white walkers is perhaps the only character in the show that is a straight up villain, hell-bent on wreaking death and destruction in Westeros after bringing The Wall crashing down and marching his undead army into the Seven Kingdoms. If he were to sit atop the Iron Throne, it would mark a very bleak ending indeed, but then "GoT"has earned its reputation by doing the unexpected and evil typically triumphs over good.

The final series begins in the spring and fans are eagerly anticipating developments. The drunken, whoring, sharp-tongued dwarf Tyrion Lannister is a favorite character among many fans and he is now part of Daenerys’ entourage. Many speculate that he too is a Targaryen and he could well end up on the throne, as few play the game of thrones better than Tyrion. He is +1200 with Bet Stars, followed by his ex-wife Sansa Stark at +1600. She was last seen running the show in Winterfell, conspiring with Bran and sister Arya (+2500) to execute Littlefinger.

The real villain of the piece is Cersei Lannister, a far more intriguing bad guy than the Night King, and she is as low as +900 to hold onto the Iron Throne. She is currently sitting on it, although she is running out of friends, and Bet Stars will go all the way out to +2000 on her to remain Queen of Westeros.

If you are looking for a long shot, you can find some interesting options. Dough-faced baker Hot Pie is priced at +50000, while Ser Pounce is +25000 and Ed Sheeran – who had a cameo as a Lannister solider – can be picked up at +100000. Theon and Yara Greyjoy are each +12500, while a resurrected Ned Stark is also +12500. You can expect these odds to shift about as the series unfolds and key characters are inevitably killed off with gleeful abandon, and this looks like becoming the novelty market of the year.

You also can look at match betting between two characters (Theon vs. Euron, Arya v Sansa, Jon vs. Daenerys etc), speculate as to who will kill Cersei and guess who will die in the final episode (Bronn of the Blackwater at +110 anyone?), so there will be manifold wagering opportunities to enhance the thrill of watching the show as it unfolds.
