Join us and find out our two top betting selections for the ATP French Open Day 6. We'll provide a detailed analysis, explaining why you should grab these two valuable tennis picks.

Nick Kyrgios (17) vs. Richard Gasquet (9)
It has been a tremendous year for Nick Kyrgios, with the Australian winning his first title in Marseille and breaking into top the 20 for the first time on his career. Known for his bad temper, Kyrgios has improved on that department in recent months. Other of Nick’s improvements is on his baseline consistency, with Kyrgios much more comfortable on clay. It has been a good week for Kyrgios so far, reaching this stage of the competition after defeating Marco Cecchinato and Igor Sijsling, both in straight sets and without dropping his serve a single time.

We picked Thomaz Bellucci to win a set against Richard Gasquet in our ATP French Open Day 2 Analysis however, the Brazilian was too erratic and weak under pressure. Despite winning his previous two matches in straight sets against Bellucci and Bjorn Fratangelo, Gasquet has been far from impressive, playing extremely passive and defensive. Richard’s baseline consistency is enough to defeat lower level players but it’s usually short against the best players in the world.

This will be the 7th career meeting between these two players with Gasquet leading on h2h by 4 – 2. Despite Richard’s lead on h2h, it was Kyrgios who won their previous encounter earlier this year in Marseille by 6 – 0 6 – 4.

It will be very hard for Gasquet to break Kyrgios with the Australian serving at such a high level. On the other hand, the French is far from a big server and Nick should have plenty of chances to break his opponent’s serve. The main reason for Gasquet’s lead on h2h was the advantage he had on longer rallies; however, Kyrgios is a much better player from the baseline and for that reason, our recommendation is for you to place a bet on Kyrgios tennis odds.

Gilles Simon (16) vs Viktor Troicki (22)
After one of the most epic matches of this year’s French Open edition, Gilles Simon booked a place in the 3rd round, recovering from two sets down and a break down on the third and fourth set. Guido Pella played at an incredible level however, Simon was just too solid from the baseline, ending the match with 46 winners / 36 unforced errors.

Viktor Troicki was also close from elimination on his first round match against Grigor Dimitrov; however, the Serbian showed all his fighting spirit while Dimitrov completely collapsed under pressure. Viktor is a very good defender but there isn’t much he can do from the baseline with his groundstrokes and for that reason, he’s always looking for an opportunity to rush into the net. On the 2nd round he saw Dusan Lajovic retiring when he was winning by 6 – 7 6 – 3 6 – 0 and in those 3 sets, Viktor played 35 points at the net.

These two players know each other well with six previous meetings between them, with Simon winning all those encounters without losing a single set.

This is a perfect match-up for Simon and there isn’t much Troicki can do from the baseline. Adding to this, Simon is also one of the best players on tour when his opponent is at the net and as we mentioned, Viktor is always looking for an opportunity to rush into the net. With this in mind, we believe that Simon will get the job done once again and our suggestion is for you to add his spread to your tennis picks.
