Join us and find out our two top betting picks for the WTA Wimbledon Quarter-Finals. We'll provide a detailed analysis, explaining why you should grab these two valuable tennis picks.

Simona Halep (5) vs. Angelique Kerber (4)
Simona Halep reaches this stage of the competition after a tremendous comeback against one of the main favorites to win the trophy, Madison Keys, with the Romanian emerging victorious by 6 – 7 6 – 4 6 – 3. Simona was just too solid for the American, with Keys also struggling with some physical problems during the third set. Halep returned at a very good level against one of the best servers on the tour, winning 39% of the points played on Madison’s serve.

After a disappointing first round loss in Roland Garros, the 2016 Australian Open champion – Angelique Kerber – is already in Wimbledon’s quarterfinals for the third time on her career. Looking at Angelique’s draw so far on this event, the German didn’t face any serious opponent in the previous four matches, winning them all in straight sets. Kerber loves to compete on grass where her terrific defensive game and counter punching skills are extremely effective. Kerber reaches this quarterfinals after a very solid performance against Misaki Doi, dismissing the Japanese 6 – 3 6 – 1 and ending the match with very solid numbers – 17 winners / 9 unforced errors and 49.12% points won on return to serve.

This will be the 5th career meeting between these two players, with Halep leading on h2h by 3 – 1.

Despite Simona’s lead on h2h, it was Kerber who won their previous match earlier this year on Clay and this will also be their first encounter on grass. This should be a tremendous battle between two of the best players on the tour but at the end, Angelique should be too solid for the Romanian. The surface clearly benefits Kerber for this match up and for that reason, our suggestion is for you to add the German to your tennis picks.

Serena Williams (1) vs. Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (21)
It has been a phenomenal week for Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, with the Russian reaching the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam event for the third time on her career, the first in Wimbledon. Anastasia clearly raised the level of her game on the previous two rounds, where she defeated Timea Bacsinszky and Coco Vandeweghe. The Russian was close from perfection on those two matches, ending the match with 13 winners / 7 unforced errors and breaking five times one of the best servers in the tour.

Serena Williams is once again looking for her 22nd Grand Slam career title and she’s in a great position to take it, with some of the biggest threats for her already out of the tournament – like Garbine Muguruza and Petra Kvitova. Serena reaches this stage of the competition after a terrific performance against Svetlana Kuznetsova, defeating the Russian by 7 – 5 6 – 0 with 14 aces, 43 winners and only 14 unforced errors.

These two players will face each other for the sixth time on their careers, with Serena winning all their previous encounters.

Even though Serena’s dominance on the h2h, Pavlyuchenkova is playing at a superb level and with nothing to lose, she can be extremely dangerous. After the way Anastasia handled Vandeweghe’s powerful serve, the Russian should create some problems to Serena on this match. Having said this, we expect a much closer contest than the odds suggest and for that reason, our recommendation is for you to take advantage of the value on Pavlyuchenkova’s tennis odds by placing a bet on the Over.
