Juventus will be looking to extend their commanding lead over the Serie A table when they host Sassuolo in Turin Monday night. By the soccer odds, they are the prohibitive home faves.

The Old Lady Reigns Supreme
Juventus boasted a 47-game unbeaten streak in their backyard up until midweek Coppa D'Italia action with Fiorentina. La Viola descended on Juventus Stadium with a verve and swagger, riding their own 12-game unbeaten streak, and took the improbable 2-1 win. Just like that, the Old Lady's dominance at home came to a screeching halt.

In Serie A, though, Juventus remain unbeaten since a 2-1 loss to Sampdoria on January 6, 2013. That's a run of 40-games undefeated in Italy's top-flight, not a record to scoff at and one that should send them into their upcoming clash with Sassuolo with a measure of confidence, despite the recent setback to Fiorentina in the first leg of their Coppa D'Italia semi-final.

As one would expect, the Bianconeri are the prohibitive favourites on the Serie A soccer odds board, trading at irreproachable -500 soccer odds. Underscoring that vote of  confidence, over and above the two-year unbeaten stretch obviously, is a run of four consecutive wins in Turin. Beating Hellas Verona 4-0, Chievo 2-0, Milan 3-1 and  Atalanta 2-1 in succession, few would consider betting against such form surely.

Sassuolo's Hail Mary Odds
Sassuolo head to Turin where they have a Hail Mary of a shot to take the victory at the expense of the hosts, to put it mildly. It doesn't get more hallucinatory than the +1400 soccer odds they are trading on at online sports betting shops. Heck, even the draw is a long shot soccer pick at +550.

Sassuolo are a modest mid-table side in Serie A sat in 12th spot, but with a 6-11-8 record on the season and just 29 points to show for their efforts through 25 rounds of Serie A, they don't exactly light up soccer betting floor. Worse reading is their road record that stands at 3-5-5 this season and includes 16 goals scored and 24 conceded.

If we're to nitpick further, the reading gets worse by the numbers. Sassuolo are riding a three-game losing streak in Serie A ahead of this clash, all losses to Italy's top flight heavyweights this season: Fiorentina, Napoli and Lazio. During this stretch, they only mustered up one goal and conceded eight. On the road, they are without a win in their last five trips in all competitions, since beating Milan 2-1 on January 6. During this stretch, their best results were draws to sixth-placed Sampdoria and seventh-placed Genoa.

Soccer Betting Verdict
By all accounts, this is a tailor-made win for Juventus. A straightforward three points on the table for them to gobble up with little fuss. Backing the win though offers little return on your investment, making it the least valuable soccer pick to be had. So, soccer bettors looking for angles for profit in this game, have to look at other Serie A betting soccer odds. For instance, Juventus to win both halves at -175 is a reasonable soccer pick with better value. Another soccer pick that catches the eye is the under 2.5, which is on offer at +135, and the 'No' bet on Both Teams To Score at -175.
