All 22 clubs will be playing again in MLS Week 6, so let’s cherry pick some fixtures which look like they might have an edge and provide some value in the Totals market as well as tossing in a side and a props pick for soccer fans.

Chicago Fire vs. Columbus Crew

Toyota Park, Bridgeview, IL, 2 p.m. ET

Bastian Schweinsteiger (1 goal) and the Fire (1-2-1, 5 GF-7 GA) welcome the first-place Crew (3-1-1, 9 GF-6 GA) to suburban Chicago on Saturday (MLS Live, CSN Plus, Spectrum Sports OH, BCSN2, ABC 6) for a week 6 Eastern Conference fixture. A look at the L5 meetings in this series shows Ola Kamara (3 goals), Justin Meram (3 goals) and Columbus to be 2-2-1 with the L2 matches in Chicagoland (Cloudy, 65°) ending in Draws.

With former Bayern Munich star Schweinsteiger onboard now for the Fire, players like David Accam (1 goal), Nemanja Nikolic, Arturo Álvarez (1 goal) and Luis Solignac (1 goal), Chicago is a much better team than last season and should be able to score some goals a little easier. And with the Crew having Kamara, Meram, Ethan Finley (1 goal), Niko Hansen (1 goal) and Federico Higuaín (1 goal), the BTTS Yes (-187) looks appetizing as does the Over (-167) on the soccer odds board.

Final Score Prediction: Fire 2 Crew 2Free MLS Pick: Over 2½ at IntertopsMLS Props Pick: Both Teams To Score (Yes) at Bet365

FC Dallas vs. Minnesota United FC

Toyota Stadium, Frisco, TX, 8 p.m. ET

Maximiliano Urruti (3 goals) and FC Dallas (2-1-0 , 4 GF-2 GA) play host to expansion side Minnesota United (1-1-3, 10 GF-20 GA), a club whose Overs (5-0) have been pure Wisconsin butter for our readers. Here in suburban Dallas on Saturday, expect Kellyn Acosta (1 goal) and FCD to break out and go Over the Total themselves. And with Christian Ramirez (3 goals), Kevin Molino (3 goals) and Minnesota likely to score, backing the Over (-222 at Intertops) again is as logical as buying Thin Mint cookies from the girl scouts every spring. One club has allowed 2 goals, the other 20. Think about that.

Real Salt Lake vs. Vancouver Whitecaps

Rio Tinto, Sandy, UT, 9:30 p.m. ET

The two big things in this MLS handicap Saturday night (MLS Live, TSN4, TSN5, KMYU) are how bad 11th-place Real Salt Lake (0-2-3 3 GF-8 GA) has started combined with the reality visiting Vancouver (1-1-2 6 GF-7 GA) will head in with just 2 days rest after playing Mexican side Tigres in CONCACAF.

Matías Laba (2 goals), Nicolás Mezquida (1 goal), Erik Hurtado (1 goal), Fredy Montero (1 goal), Cristian Tejera (1 goal) and the Whitecaps give Vancouver solid scoring options, but this club has always seemed to have trouble scoring, meaning playing great defense behind GK David Ousted has been the only way for the Fighting Ogopogos to stay in games. In L5 meetings (VAN 2-0 RSL, RSL 1-0 VAN, VAN 4-0 RSL, VAN 2-1 RSL, RSL 0-1 VAN), there have been four Clean Sheets with the Home side going 4-0-1 (W-D-L) and the Whitecaps 4-0-1, outscoring RSL, 9-2 with both games in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains of Utah going Under with 1-0 scorelines.

Final Score Prediction: Real Salt Lake 1 Whitecaps 0Free MLS Pick: Under 2½ -105Best Line Offered: at Bovada
