Join us and find out our two top betting selections for the ATP French Open Day 10. We'll provide a detailed analysis, explaining why you should grab these two valuable tennis picks.

Richard Gasquet (9) vs. Andy Murray (2)
After needing a fifth set on his first two matches against Radek Stepanek and Mathias Bourgue, Andy Murray raised his level and defeated two of the best servers on tour in straight sets – Ivo Karlovic and John Isner. Despite struggling to maintain a consistent game level on his first two matches, Andy was extremely solid in the last two, not dropping his serve a single time. Murray is trying to reach the semifinals of this event for the 4th time on his career, after losing on that stage last year against Novak Djokovic in a five sets battle.

For the first time in 13 appearances, Richard Gasquet reaches the quarterfinals of the French Open. Despite playing at a very good level in the previous two rounds against Nick Kyrgios and Kei Nishikori, it’s important to mention that Kyrgios played with a left shoulder injury while Nishikori completely collapsed mentally after the rain delay. Gasquet’s backhand was the key for his victory against Nishikori, with 66.67% of his baseline winners achieved with the backhand.

This will be the 11th career meeting between these two players, with Murray leading on h2b by 7 – 3.

Looking at their previous encounters, three of them occurred in Grand Slam events with Murray winning them all, including two epic comebacks from two sets down in Wimbledon 2008 and Roland Garros 2010. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Andy dropping the first set but even if he does, he should get the job done at the end. With this in mind, we have two suggestions for this contest: 1) add Murray’s spread to your tennis picks because he should cover it even if this match goes to distance; 2) wait for a live betting opportunity in case Murray drops the first set.

Albert Ramos vs. Stan Wawrinka (3)
Albert Ramos is for the first time in the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam event after the biggest win of his career against Milos Raonic. The slower game conditions clearly benefited Ramos solid baseline game, allowing only 7 aces to Raonic and breaking the Canadian 5 times throughout the match. This was only Ramos second career victory over a top 10 player, with the Spaniard winning 2 out of 23 matches against players ranked inside top 10.

The defending champion, Stan Wawrinka, increased his winning streak in Paris to 11 matches after his four sets triumph over Viktor Troicki. Despite losing the second set against the Serbian, Stan was just too strong for his opponent, ending the match with 19 aces, 67 winners and 50 unforced errors, which are impressive numbers against such a good defender as Troicki. Other of the highlights goes to Wawrinka’s success at the net, with the Suisse winning 72.41% of the points played at the net.

Stan will be looking to extend his dominance over Ramos, with the Suisse winning all their previous six encounters. The most recent took place in Geneva two weeks ago, with Wawrinka crushing Albert by 6 – 1 6 – 1.

Looking at this match-up, is hard to see what Ramos can do from the baseline against the Suisse and their result in Geneva proves it. Stan is known for raising his level on the latter stages of Grand Slam events and with that in mind, we expect Wawrinka to win this match without any problems. Having said that, the best way to take advantage of Stan’s tennis odds on this match is by making a split between the following two bets – Wawrinka’s set handicap and spread.
