Sunday could be goal day in Spain as the best three teams in La Liga face three of the minnows in the division. Our capper has checked & picked the soccer odds on all three matches.

There could be a deluge of goals in Spain this weekend as the top three teams in La Liga face three of the weakest sides. Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid have started 2015 in a mixed fashion, so will be keen to get into consistent winning ways and cut loose with their attacking talent on show. I’m looking at a treble for Sunday’s action from the three games

Getafe vs Real Madrid
Real Madrid lost that first away game back after the winter break to Valencia, which was their first defeat since losing at Sociedad at the end of August. Since that they have won all seven away scoring 29 goals and conceding just four!

Getafe’s home form won’t worry the newly crowned best player in the world or his team mates. They have only scored more than one goal once this season, bagging three in the win over Eibar back in December.

Despite the Madrid defeat, Cristiano Ronaldo still scored in the loss, before heading off to pick up the Ballon D’Or. You have to expect him to be buoyant after collecting the accolade and at 1/2 may well be value to score at any time.

The first leg of the Big Boys treble: Real Madrid minus one goal at 8/11.

Atletico Madrid vs Granada
Fresh from beating Real Madrid in the Copa Del Rey, Atleti will be buzzing with confidence and their enigmatic head coach may have a point to prove too, having been largely overlooked in the FIFA Coach of the Year voting.

Granada have won one match away from home and have conceded the second most goals on the road in the division, with six of the 19 they have let in going in against Barcelona. They also let in five at Sevilla too, so struggle against the bigger sides.

Diego Simeone’s men have won by two clear goals against all the bottom 5 teams they have played so far this season and the last home game saw Antoine Griezmann grab a brace. At 6/5 I’d fancy him to score against Granada here too.

The second leg of the treble: Atletico Madrid minus one goal at 4/6.

Deportivo La Coruna vs Barcelona
This is arguably the trickiest of the three matches in terms of predicting lots of goals, with Barca’s away form lacking consistency. They have won five drawn two and lost two this season, but defensively they have been good conceding just five goals in nine games on the road.

Depor are doing okay in their first season back in the top flight, with the big win over Athletic Club the stand out result. They have recorded back to back home wins spanning the winter break and will be as confident as they can be going into this match.

We all know the plan: stay disciplined and solid and frustrate Messi and Co for as long as possible. Six of their 10 home games have featured under 2.5 goals, but tellingly the only match against the top three saw them ship eight to Real Madrid.

Whether they manage to block Barca or not, take onto consideration for your selection of soccer picks that they will lose by two clear goals even if it takes the away team until the last half an hour to score them. Messi will be motivated after losing to Ronaldo in the Ballon D’or vote for the second season in a row, so 8/13 for the Argentinian to score a goal looks a cracking bet to me.

The third leg of the treble: You won’t be surprised to hear that it's Barca minus one goal at 4/7.

Free soccer pick: The Big Three La Liga minus one handicap treble pays 7/2.
