We split a pair of FIBA World Cup Picks on Monday morning and with the tournament favorites back in action on Tuesday, there looks to be some value on these World Cup Odds.

Jordan’s FIBA Picks: 4-3

Senegal vs Australia

Senegal got blitzed in their first group play game against the Lithuanians and considering they only scored 47 points and shot 28.5% from the floor, it’s not looking pretty against Australia.

Lithuania’s frontcourt is one of the better one-two punches in the tournament with Jonas Valanciunas holding down the middle and Domantas Sabonis bullying his way through the paint on offense.

The Australians will have a similar advantage with their frontcourt of Aron Baynes and Jock Landale. Add in Andrew Bogut coming off the bench behind Baynes and those are three guys that will control the middle on defense and get pretty much whatever they want on offense.

Between the two of them, Baynes and Bogut had 22 points and 13 rebounds against Canada, so imagine what they’ll be able to accomplish against the Senegalese.

Senegal does have some length, but that didn’t matter much against the Lithuanians. Australia’s pace might lend the Senegalese offense to score more than 47 points, but not that much more.

Right now at 5Dimes, you can get the Senegal team total at 63 points and frankly, that may be four or five points too many. Take the under because Australia may hold them under 60 points for the game.

My Pick: Senegal UNDER 63 @ 5Dimes

France vs Jordan

I’m taking a similar approach to the France and Jordan game as I am with the Australians and Senegalese earlier in the morning or night, depending on where you’re reading this from

We saw France play a pretty tight game against the Germans, but despite their best efforts, Germany dropped two more points than their team total to send that underplay to the loss column.

However, if the Germans only score 74 points on the French defense, I’m pretty sure the Frenchmen can hold Jordan to less than 60 points.

The Germans also won the turnover battle with the French at a 2:1 margin. That will not happen again against the Jordanians.

Jordan has an impressive center in Ahmad Al Dwairi, who dropped 34 points against the Dominican Republic in a loss.

Jordan only had 76 points in that game, so you can expect Al Dwairi to see some regression offensively going up against Rudy Gobert this time around.

Combine that with the French hopefully not turning the ball over as much as they did against the Germans and you have an environment that will not be kind to the Jordanians, especially on offense.

Dimes has Jordan at 61.5 points right now and they are another team where I suspect getting to 60 points might be a struggle.

Assuming France plays slower and has a big lead, they will be able to rest and milk the clock on offense, while playing stout enough defense early in the game to ensure an underplay has some value.

My Pick: Jordan UNDER 61.5 @ 5Dimes
