Sevilla FC meets Juventus Turin on Tuesday, Decemeber 8. Let’s see what’s going on with the soccer odds and offer up a couple of logical soccer picks for you, Sportsbook Review readers.

Already in the UEFA Champions League Final 16, Group D leaders Juventus only need a point against Sevilla to secure top spot and win the group on Matchday 6 on Wednesday at Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán in Seville, but the hosts can earn third place in the group with a Win and a Borussia Mönchengladbach Loss to Manchester City. So with both clubs motivated, but the Old Lady obviously the better side and in much better form, what is the best way to approach this match after analyzing the soccer odds

Odds Overview
Sevilla vs. Juventus: Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán in Sevilla, Spain is the site of this Matchday 6 UEFA Champions League Group D game between La Liga host Sevilla (1-0-4, 7 GF-11 GA) and Italian Serie A champions and Group D leaders Juventus (3-2-0, 8 GF-2 GA) in a match in which the Old Lady can clinch top spot in the group with a point, and one in which the host Sevillistas need a Win to have a chance to finish third in the group and make the UEFA Europa League. Oddsmakers here have made hosts Sevilla +150 favorites over visitors Juventus who are +200 underdogs here in Andalusia (Bet365) in the Three-Way (Winner) marketplace with the Draw is priced at +240. The Total (Goals) in this game is 2½ with the Over juiced at +110 and the Under priced at -142 (Bet365) while the Both Teams To Score Prop odds sees the ‘Yes’ at -137 and the ‘No’ at +100 (William Hill). The Draw No Bet odds see Sevilla priced at -137 and Juventus at +114 (BetVictor). A couple of good Prop bets for this game possibly: Correct Score: 1-1, 5/1 (Bet365) and Halftime/Fulltime: (Draw/Draw) +425 (BetVictor).

Juventus FC
Juventus (8-3-4, 22 GF-11 GA, 5th place in Serie A) can wrap up 1st place in Group D with a Draw and a point here in Spain against Sevilla and the Old Lady comes in on a 6-match Road unbeaten run in all competitions that goes all the way back to October of 2014. Bianconeri Manager Massimiliano Allegri and his side would be favored more in this particular spot if it wasn’t an almost foregone conclusion that they will win Group D, one way or another on Tuesday. And with Sevilla needing a Win to keep its hopes alive and Juventus 3-5-14 (W-D-L) against Spanish competition Away, this may end up being a stalemate of sorts. Probably not as strong overall Roster-wise as it was last year—Juventus lost club legend Andrea Pirlo (MLS, NYCFC), Carlos Tevez (Boca Juniors), Arturo Vidal (Bayern Munich)—the Old Lady will still be a force to be reckoned with in the Knockout Stage with players like world-class GK Gianluigi Buffon, Striker Álvaro Morata (+260 Anytime Goalscorer, Bet365), MF Paul Pogba (+300, Bet365), Striker Paulo Dybala (+250, Sky Bet) and Striker Mario Mandžukic (+200, Sky Bet) and could very easily win this one despite being a +200 underdog (Bet365). On the Suspension and Injury front for defending Italian Serie A Champions Juventus (28/1 to win Champions League, Bet365), MF Hernanes is Suspended while LW Roberto Pereyra (Thigh) is out with and Injury with MF Sami Khedira and MF Mario Lemina both listed as Doubtful for this game on the UEFA Champions League website.

Sevilla FC
Sevilla (5-4-5, 19 GF-19 GA, 10th place in La Liga) and Manager Unai Emery come in on a four-match winless streak and the Sevillistas—sitting on just 3 points and in last place in Group D—desperately need a Win here and a Borussia Mönchengladbach (5 points) Loss to Manchester City (9 points) at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday to finish 3rd in the group and sneak into the UEFA Europa League tournament, the little brother of this prestigious UEFA Champions League. Sevilla, which has won the UEFA Europa League a record four times including back-to-back Trophies in 2014 and 2015, does have the players to compete with and beat Juventus here with former Old Lady player former Juventus player Fernando Llorente (+240 Anytime Goalscorer, Bet365) at Striker, RW Kévin Gameiro (+150, Bet365), Ciro Immobile (+225, Bet365), Winger Yevhen Konoplyanka (+435, Bet365) and MF Juan Cuadrado (+450, Bet365) the best scoring options. GK Sergio Rico has done a decent job in his stead of usual starting Sevilla GK Beto (Shoulder), but trying to score on this Defensive-minded Juventus side while trying to also prevent its talented attack force from striking on the contrer will prove to be a challenge for the hosts, even in this most desperate of situations for a proud Spanish club from Andalusia. On the Injury front for the Los Rojiblancos, D Marco Andreolli (Foot), CM Éver Banega (Thigh), D Daniel Carriço (Hamstring), LW Gaël Kakuta (Hamstring) and LB Benoît Trémoulinas (Foot) are all listed as Out for this one.

Best Betting Approaches & Series Trends
These two European clubs have only met once in all competitions—in the first meeting between the two here in Group D play on Sept. 30 back in Turin, Italy at Juventus Stadium, won by the Old Lady, 2-0 as GK Buffon registered the Clean Sheet and Morata (41’) and Striker Simone Zaza (87’; +400 Anytime Goalscorer, Betfred) had the goals for the defending Italian Serie A champions. So these two historic clubs actually don’t have much of a history so the driving element here should be defending Europa League champion Sevilla’s desperate attempt at a victory, hoping that the EPL’s Citizens beat Mönchengladbach in Sky Blue Mancunia while ending their own personal losing streak—which began with that aforementioned Loss to Juventus in Italy on Matchday 2—and slowing the Old Lady’s roll. That sounds a bit difficult. This match will probably play out as expected, with the visitors letting Sevilla and former teammate Llorente, Gameiro and Immobile get their sniffs of the goal early on before eventually finding a way to score at least one goal here of their own, probably through Mandžukic or Morata, breaking Sevilla’s hearts in the process. Don’t cry for me, Andalusia. And with all that Defense and talent, Juventus should be able to hold Sevilla in check, win Group D with a point and worry about more important things in The Not-So-Distant Future like the club’s miserable standing in the Serie A table right now or the coming Knockout Stage of this tournament, where things will definitely get turned up a notch. With all of that in mind, the Under 2½ and Juventus in the Draw No Bet market seem like the safest soccer picks here.

PREDICTED FINAL SCORE: Sevilla 1 Juventus 1
UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FREE PICKS: Under 2½ -125 (Marathon), Juventus Draw No Bet +114 (BetVictor)
