After a shocking result against a lower-league side in the F.A. Cup, how will Manchester United respond? The situation that presents itself is a positive one, but that doesn't mean the Red Devils are a lock when making our soccer picks.

Odds Overview
One of the heaviest favorites on the soccer betting odds board for the weekend is Manchester United. The Red Devils are listed at right around -300 to get the straight up win, which doesn't offer the general public a lot of value on the surface. We'll have to dig deeper to find the best way possible of exploiting the lines.

If you really feel good about Leicester's chances, you may want to take a shot, considering the odds are very one-sided. The Foxes are quoted in a wide range that starts at +750 and goes all the way up to +1000 at certain places. You need to use multiple books in order to get the best possible number.

Manchester United
Yes, we've seen a lot of upsets take place in cup competitions in the past, and the underdogs won out again this past week. We saw a lot of crazy outcomes, not the least of which came when Manchester United had to settle for a draw against little-known Cambridge United.

If you didn't know, Cambridge United is in League Two, which is the fourth-highest level in England. It's below the Premier League, the Championship, and League One. Considering the gulf in levels, the fact the Red Devils couldn't get anything going in a 0-0 draw just goes to show you that anything can happen in soccer.

Despite that setback during the week, United is still in the top four in the Premier League, and van Gaal's crew will look to keep that situation in place with a good result at home against Leicester City. The Red Devils may be in fourth right now, but they've got others right on their back, including Arsenal, who is just one point back.

Leicester City
There will be two parts to this breakdown.

First, the Foxes should get some props for their recent play. They've been playing a lot better as of late, having outright won three of their previous four matches in all competitions. It's been a good run, and it's one that's definitely helped their cause, which is escaping the dreaded relegation zone. F.A. Cup victories over Newcastle and then Tottenham and a Premier League triumph at home against Aston Villa showcase just how improved Leicester has been.

But, then we look at the bigger picture, and we see the Foxes in dead last in the standings. Even though they've been going a positive direction lately, they still find themselves in the basement of the table. There have been a lot of troubles for Leicester away from home especially, which doesn't bode well for this trip to Old Trafford, especially with United raring to bounce back after a bad showing.

Premier League Pick
As bad as that was against Cambridge United, we're having a hard time seeing United struggle for a win this weekend. The odds suggest a straightforward win for the Red Devils, and that's what we believe we'll get in the end.

The simple matter of fact is that United possesses a level of quality that few in the world, let alone the Premier League have. We see a lot of tight games in England's top-flight league, but that doesn't seem all that likely at Old Trafford on Saturday.

We know the Red Devils are going to come out with urgency underachieving during the week. They've got some scary good attacking poor and can score goals out of pretty much nothing. With that said, we'll bank on the home team winning by at least two goals. That way we can get more bang for our buck with our soccer picks too.
