Crystal Palace entertain Premier League strugglers Sunderland and Nigel Seeley expects more misery for the visitors. Let's review the soccer odds and choose a soccer picks to improve profits.

Crystal Palace vs. Sunderland Odds Overview
What are the TV producers thinking of serving up Crystal Palace and Sunderland as the Monday night football offering this week?

This is a real strange choice of a fixture from Sky, but it is what it is, and we will have to find a way to enjoy the experience by having a few winning bets on the match

The last preview I was asked to write on a Sunderland game was their last away Premier League match against Everton, and I predicted a 0-0 draw, the game ended 6-2, and I won't be falling into that trap again.

The one thing that I did learn from that match is, not that I'm rubbish at tipping but, that Sunderland are useless and the appointment of Sam Allardyce did get a brief reaction from the players' in the derby match against Newcastle, but they look destined for the drop and odds of just 1.25 with Stan James on them to be playing in the Championship aren't short enough for me.

The visitors are a massive 7.00 with Bet365 to win at Selhurst Park in the betting odds, and without a win on the road all season and just that one victory against Newcastle in their last 10 matches in all competition however big it does look, they haven't got a chance in this one.

Their backers, if there are any of them, will take some encouragement from their 3-1 win here last season, but that was their first success at Selhurst Park in the last seven visits and usual service is set to resume.

The Biggest Concern for Sunderland's Fans is their Defense or Lack of One
The Black Cats back four looks old and very, very slow, and with 18 goals conceded already away from the Stadium of Light in their six Premier League road matches, they look certain to concede a few against the youth and pace of the Crystal Palace forwards.
Alan Pardew's Palace side bounced back to winning ways before the international break with a surprise 2-1 win at Liverpool, which was their first win in five matches and confidence will be sky high ahead of this clash.

Many believe that Palace are a much better side on the road, and that is probably a very fair assumption, as they are one of the best counter-attacking teams in the Premier League, but it doesn't really matter where this match is played, as there is a huge gulf between the two sides and even at just 1.57 with PaddyPower, it's just impossible to oppose the Eagles.

This could really get messy for the visitors, and if the home side score early, then I'm certain Sunderland heads will drop and I expect them to run riot and Crystal Palace on the asian handicap -1 at 1.95 looks a cracking betting pick as the visitors only intention will be to come to South London and park the red and white bus, and try to get back to Wearside with a point, and that is a dangerous tactic, and one that looks certain to back-fire.
